How Blizz Messed Up Worgen

now before i start this imma say i think worgen are pretty damn kool, and as far as teh starting zone and animations and @#$%, 5 stars.
HOWEVER i really think worgen would have made a better class than a race, it could be like a druid in cat/bear form, i mean who wants to be a big wolf man, and not be able to claw and bite people >.<
also lore wise, why is it just humans, dwarfs and gnomes and orcs, could technicly become a worgen too if their bitten, its just a human thing lore wise. plus how kool would an undead worgen look? or a gnome worgen, that would be hilarious. idk i think it would have been pretty sick to see as a new class(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##Gryphon##DELIM##Closed at request of OP.

We already have something like Druids in Cat/Bear Form.
Its called Druids in Cat/Bear Form...
by that logic, mages and locks are basicly the same thing
as are death knights and paladins
just caus a class uses the sme mechanic dosnt mean its the same thing. i mean like equip a wepon and have it converted intoi "worgen attack power" and have them fight with claws and @#$% like druids, thatd all i meant

Slight problem with that logic.
The class is something that characters
choose.
The race is something that characters
are.
Whether the character is a warrior or a priest, it is a choice and something they trained in. But a dwarf is a dwarf regardless of the class, and if you studied the worgen intro area, they didn't exactly choose to be cursed.

Death Knights

Death Knights were made against their will by the Lich King, completely different. Your idea is just bad and really does not make any sense.

ok #1 you dont have to word it like that, dont be a little b****
#2 i was just giving what i thought was a kool idea, i didnt like sit down and plan out every little subtelty i just gave the basic concept, so obviously there are a few holes in it
#3 its actualy the exact same as DKs, death knights were once paladins(lore wise) and pretty much every other class, then they were changed by the lich king. worgen changed by a curse could be the same concept. if you look at the lore and even the way other worgen act in the starting zone, and worgen bosses. they act more like a new class than a race. you never see any npc worgen fighting with a sword or anything like that
i mean im looking at your post "death knights were made against their will by the lich king" if you take out the words "by the lich king" it describes worgen exactly

The problem is what would a Worgen class be? A fuzzy warrior? An upright feral druid? An enhancement shammy with a shaving problem?
Why would they suddenly forget everything they'd trained for in life by being turned into a Worgen? DKs have some excuse in that they were actually dead. And are empowered by dark magics now. But Worgen never died, they just transformed.
Why would the light forsake a Worgen priest? Why would a Worgen mage be unable to draw on the arcane energy around him? Why would a Worgen hunter forget how to use a gun?
No, while the idea of letting multiple races be Worgen would be cool, both the mechanics & lore of making a Worgen a class just wouldn't work.

Worgen is no class man. And humans are worgens only because gnomes and others are not bitted in lore by feral druids. Worgen is good race and yes.

Well if youre going to make a thread about something like this atleast do a little thinking about it first instead of just some random gibberish. The worgen curse effected those in the city of Gilneas (a human capital) so that right there answers why other raced cannot be Worgens, and worgen as a class would just not be a good idea at all, we have Druids. Could a Worgen bite a orc? sure but he aint going to turn into a Worgen though because lore says it only effected the Humans of Gilneas.

You also never see High elven Forsaken or Dwarven Forsaken, it is a game mechanic. Still, lore-wise, the playable Worgen are all humans from Gilneas.

well look at admiral ripsnarl (i think is his name) in deadmines, and the worgen boss in CoC. most of the worgen npcs u see either use their claws, or cast spells, i just thought it would be kool, i mean if you are gonna play a big wolf man you might as well BE a wolf man, using weapons kinda ruins it for me, thats just me though, i still think worgen are a pretty kool race. love the /silly and /flirts

This will blow all these thoughts of worgen class out of your head. Worgen gnome. Tiny furry thing running around on 4 legs clawing at you with tiny fingers.

Apparently you havnt noticed
Lord Darius Crowley
. He shows up in Silverpine with a new set of armor in horde questing, and despite being able to
fistcleave mobs into the air without a weapon
before being turned into a worgen, he still decides to
sport two awesome looking weapons
....
Also, I do believe
Genn Greymane also uses his Sword in Worgen form
