I'm usually nice and diplomatic.
But this time I'm gonna call it.
Nobody cares what you think. Especially if you don't back up your statement with anything substantial.

Compared to Vanilla, BC stats were exagerated, never mind wrath stats... the numbers just keep on growing and there's not much that can change that.
This.
However, I also liked Wrath more. /shrug

The stats in Cata also CHANGED a lot more from Wrath than any other xpac I can think of, and unlike the changes past (such as combining spellpower and healing power), Blizz didn't really make the changes redudant to older gear....thus why a lot of you decent older Hunter gear still has intellect.
Not only did individual stats increase a lot with Cata gear, you also have the HUGE increase in stamina across the board, not just on tanking plate. You have the addition of mastery on gear, a stat that doesn't exist on any pre-Cata gear without reforging.
So while I dont agree at all with your reason why " I really prefer WotLK than Cata", I do agree that the stat changes were pretty extreme
EDITS:
Well, now that I think about it (considering I'm extremely bored with WoW) I did have more fun in WotLK I guess. Games just getting stale after 6 years I guess *shrug* However, BC was the most fun of all the expansions (and more fun than vanilla) in my opinion.
"Stale" would be one way of putting it. In Vanilla WoW was completely new...albiet in my opinion it was quite broken. But it was so fresh there ws little to compare it to, so even the faults were easily overlooked.
Burning Crusade really expanded on the good parts of Vanilla, fixed a lot of what was broken, and offered a lot of challenging new content, as well as lots of other options outside of just end game raiding. (rep farming, mount collection, and many distinct tiers of raiding)
Wrath on the other hand attempted to fix things that I dont think were broke to begin with. It took the "epicness" away from epics, eliminated attunments and rep grinds (things that I actually found fun), and removed most of the challenge from the content in to open up end game raids to the masses. Just my opinion, but I have stated before that Wrath seemed to be rushed and lacked imagination and innovation, with perhaps a slight exception for Ulduar.
As for Cata, Im trying to allow it some time to flesh out before I pass judgement. I too fell for now that it is somewhat "stale", but that opinion could very well be just a result of the time I have spent focused on just 1 game. I do believe it is obvious that Cata, somewhat like Vanilla, may have some issues with core parts of the game, but unlike Vanilla, Blizz has 6 years of history to draw upon to hopefully get the problems fixed.
It is said that "All good things must come to an end", and WoW may soon be one of those things for me. But the real test for Cata will come from the judgement of the newer players, not us veterans. If Cata has the same ability to hook millions of new players the same way Vanilla and BC did to us, than it will be a success.

I only prefer wrath to cata because burst made PvP more exciting. When I was playing my mage, I had to blink the second a warrior intercepted me, or I'd be dead. I had to hit holy shock the second I was ambushed or I was dead. Now, even if I mess up, it's not that big of a deal.

Everyone says the thing before it was better........and rarely if ever is that actually true.

Shrug, fact is, it wasn't as massive in preceding expansions. I didn't have any T3, only 2pc T2 at the start of TBC, but it's undeniably true that Cata has has greater stat inflation than either TBC or WotLK.
It doesn't seem that impressive now looking back after several years, and its not as large of a jump now with all the changes/improvements to the items you get from questing in the old world before heading to Outland, but if you started a new character and leveled it through questing your stats saw a massive jump within the first few quests in Outland.
When your hp jumps by over 1,000 just replacing a few pieces of gear and you only had a couple thousand to start with, yeah, it's massive. The stat jumps are larger now, but you have to remember that the "baseline" from the "end" of the previous expansion is higher, so to be proportional the numbers obvously have to be bigger.
Also with all the changes to dungeons (LFD, guaranteed emblems instead of farming over and over and over hoping for a drop just to have someone else take it leaving you with nothing to show for countless runs) it is a lot easier to gear up casually while leveling, which means a leveling character is much more likely to have at least a few pieces of dungeon gear rather than just whatever quest gear they snagged, so your starting bar needs to be bumped up again to reflect the changes to the game.
tl,dr: There are factors you're not accounting for.

I don't think cata sucks it's just i like rift more (note this may be due to the fact of having 5 85s)
