Wotlk was better. But only because icc. And lfd was best sorry.
Cata bad things: talents is badder. But funner in low levels.
- No puggings.

Deathwing is not a random Dragon. Go read Day of the Dragon, War of the Ancients, play WC2, or quest in Twilight Highlands.
Go read three books written about a video game.... Really?
Go play a video game that was release 15 years ago? Really?
The complaints about Deathwing "coming out of left field" are valid, but so what. WoW lore has always been paper thin.

The same applies to Arthas, but I didn't see those complaints.
I've found plenty of lore. Guess we'll agree to disagree.

Wrath was more
fun
, but it was too easy. Cata is only fun if you have people in your group who have an IQ of over 12.

i will start by saying that i havnt read all teh posts, ir ead about the first 5 and they were all pretty annoying. i agree with you that stats are overexagerated now and that wotlk was the limit, i mean holy #$%^ tanks have 150k+ hp. they need to do some kind of a reset on that imo, but they cant really without revamping all the content in the game (world of wacraft 2)
but as far as which i prefer i have to go with caty, the dungeons offer more challenges than wotlk, and its skill based challenges not gear based, as well as making questing a lot more fun, pvp more expanded. all around i think it breathed some much needed life into the game
that being said everybody is entitled to their own opinion, if you prefered wrath thats up to you and im sorry people are ^&*!@ing you out over it, i personaly prefer caty, but thats me.

This. My friend always QQs about it being too hard, well, not too hard but more like, it takes too long. I personally am perfectly fine with it. He just doesn't like how hard it is to gear up, instead of just doing 2 hours of work and being able to do ICC back in WotlK. This is why he's been level 85 for 2.5 weeks and still can't do heroics.. heck.. he couldn't do lvl 85 normals. >_<

Quote.
I agree with most of it.
All I saw was "QQ I can't faceroll and pug content with bads QQ". That is why Cata is awesome, separating the wheat from the chaff. Or w/e that Cho'Gall says in Bastion.
You could always just try reading what was actually posted, because none of it said that at all.

Cata has nothing to do with Casuals/Hardcore players.
Cata has everything to do with can I do my job right.
If you can't do your job right your gonna fail and lag behind while the people that know how to play are gonna be ahead of you. Sure some people have more time to invest into the game and those are what I call True Hardcore (not these fake hardcore people that say they are and don't do anything about it the people that don't give a *!@# what you think they are gonna try and be the first to do the raid) The other people are either Smart enough to be getting geared and running the raids or are stupid enough to think that a 330gs is good enough for the raid and won't take help from anyone that says otherwise.
Which are you? Are you someone that will do what needs to be done or are you someone who will complain about stuff that isn't happening fast enough.
DON"T SAY @#$% about how hard content is. people are clearing it which means it doesn't take a %^&*ing rocket scientist to figure out.
Edit: this will now be my copy paste statement anytime this comes up if anyone questions it I will repost the exact same paragraph word for word. if you still don't understand quit wow you are most definitely not someone I ever want to meet ingame.

yes but cross server is what screwed it up
It made it better. It selects from a greater pool (battlegroup), and helps those on low-pop realms.
You can get bad players and good players. Either way.

If you havent even experienced the content yet how can you even say its boring? People like you annoy me, you are just going by what others say it seems. And have fun waiting 2-3yrs for the other xpac because this one "isnt good enough"

For me, it's BC and Vanilla.
Cata, imo is just a small expansion to WoW, unlike BC. You had a whole new and mass areas to explore and play in. And the dungeons and raids in BC were much better than the rest. But that's just my personal taste. And back then, wow was still a casual game.

The same applies to Arthas, but to a much smaller degree.
If you just copy pasted allyourbasearebelongtous into chat in the WCIII campaign and watched the cutscenes you'd have a very good idea of why you're killing Arthas. That's a significantly smaller time investment than reading several books. It's also a much more recent game. More people probably went WCIII -> WoW than WCII (-> WCIII) -> WoW. I know I did.
Also: Aetsu is spot on in this thread.
I would also like to throw in: buginess. Worse in this expansion.

I don't see how WCIII coverage is > WCII coverage? As someone who played neither I found Arthas and Deathwing to have about equal coverage in WoW...Deathwing from Searing Gorge/Burning Steppes Arthas from wpl and epl. For me, I'll take anything other than zombiecrap wotlk. The whole expac grossed me out tbh, I realize that undead beings are a staple of most fantasy but wrath just overdid the whole dead gross thing for me, I much prefer dragons :) Also, wotlk launch was buggier than cata launch. I prefer BC.
