He's obviously leveling with Archaeology, how is that not plainly evident to anyone with half a brain?

What Aestu is posting happens with every major company out there. They know the power of forums. I used to work for a company that very quietly had its own sect of employees that were asked to up the internet reviews of select products that they had an overstock on, or that were not selling very well. People log onto the website, see this item has 5 stars with posters saying how awesome it is, and boom, we're sold out within a couple months.
If it's true for a small company like that, odds are it's true for a huge company like Blizzard. Is there physical proof? No, but the fact that you need physical proof to put 2 and 2 together speaks highly of our society and its inability to deductively reason.
Going a little off course here, but it's like a dog whistle. Can you physically hear it? No. How do you know it's there? You see its effect on dogs, and you can measure it with certain devices.
We don't have machines that can just give us a read out of which "conspiracies" are true, but we have the human mind, with all its analytical ability and intuition. Use them both together, give yourself some flippin' credit, and think for yourself.
Crap like this happens more often then people want to think. Sorry it upsets your comfort zone of Blizzard being this epic, awesome, down to earth company that just wants people to have a great time while making a little money on the side.
It's not. Trace the company's shareholders and its flow of money, especially since the Activision debacle, and you have yourself a company that will do anything and everything to reel in the money. Like, anything.

As well as hacking accounts and selling characters.

In Crano's definition of vested interest, if the attitude object is subjectively important and the perceived personal consequences are significant, there will be a greater chance the individuals attitude will be expressed behaviorally. For example, a 30 year old individual is told that the legal driving age is being raised from 16 to 17 in his state. While he may not agree with this law, he is not impacted like a 15 year old prospective vehicle operator and is unlikely to be involved in protesting the change. This example illustrates the point that highly vested attitudes concerning issues are related to an individual’s situational point of view.
Good jerb.

Aside from the fact that lololololaetsulololtrolllololoaetsutrolllol, it wouldn't surprise me.
Blizzard has been phenomenally bad about listening to, taking, and acting on criticism this expansion. Beta testers spent months telling you lol sobad was awful? Concoct some dev blog crap and copy paste the tripe from the CE box about the zone, and pretend that that's an actual response.
Telling people to purposefully derail threads so they have an excuse to ban rather than listen sounds like par for the course.

The fact is this is still true. I have seen it done while I was working for a few other high end companies. They do have people that are just high post counts go in and shut down posts they don't want. Get it off topic discussing something else and then a mod comes in and locks it saying its geting off topic without ever correcting what the main issue is.
