pve - how is it that other classes levels below me can take mobs down faster, more efficient and with less damage done to them overall after the fight?
an example would be
(Ragemane) - i saw a level 75 hunter take him down with ~2/3 hp left over. However, when i attempted the same (I was level 78) i managed to whack down ~1/10 of ragemane's hp before i died.
Probably because the hunter had a pet tanking for him that he could heal with Mend Pet. Whereas you are just eating hits to the face. Bad example.
pvp - My experiences with other classes has left me feeling that warrs have very little choice but to die after being attacked - for example:
druid might stun and attack me down to 1/2 health, and when i come out of the disables i have very little options - no stuns/heals to look to (Bloodthirst does not even help to the slightest)
All i can do is sit around and wait to die because i have little rage, and battle shout and cd's waste global cooldown time - leading me to a quicker death than autoattack
1v1 does not make for an accurate portrait of PvP. For every feral druid that blows you up, there's the rogue or warlock that you get the jump on and destroy. Or maybe you are bad at PvP. I don't know.
Im not trying to complain, just want to learn and understand why i cannot achieve the same amount of poonage as other classes i have seen
Poonage huh? Pwnage I think you mean. Mega Poonage is what you strive for in college.
ALSO on an unrelated tangent, why does it seem like the person who gets the jump on another person in pvp (while levelling) will always win? eg: pallies 2 hit kill and stunners whack down to 1/3 health. Isnt it more fair if the person being attacked is at least given a chance to win without having to be higher levels than them?
Because that's the way 1v1 and duels usually work. The opener has a huge advantage. "Real" PvP is a team sport; 1v1 is arbitrary and normally falls into a "Class vs Class" predetermination, or "Who got the jump" predetermination.
I really don't have any other comments for you, other than to keep leveling.
