"I await your command, Sire," Scourflesh replied, arcane energy crackling between his fingers.

"Now listen here, all of you! The fact that we have seen no cannons so far does not mean that the insurgents have none! If they have been biding their time to unleash their firepower upon us, we will make then understand their efforts are in vain! Footsoldiers, no one is to come inside until the cannons are dealt with, if any are to be found! Casters, shutting down the cannons is your first priority, casters the second, everything else the last," Alaric thundered, his hollow voice echoing across the Square.
"Blast the door to the smithereens, Scourflesh."

"Enough, the two of you," Alaric growled, unfreezing Ragnar's helmet with a flick of his hand.
"Ragnar, steady your hand until the cannons are dealt with. Scourflesh, take care of the gunfire."

"Of course, Baron," Scourflesh answered, lifting a cannon into the air with another telekinesis spell and dropping it onto its firer. He tried to do the same to another cannon, but found that the first spell had drained too much power.

"Scourflesh, if your energy is drained, fall back and recuperate, we have enough Skeletal mages to take your place while you are restoring your powers.
Actually, that sounds like a good idea. Mages, split into three squads! One squad fires, the other two recuperate!"

Alexandros Hopewell
Stratholme, Eastern Plaguelands
"Scourge in sight men! FIRE!"
Alex's scream echoed through the square, archers and magni opened fire upon the undead. The rode their horses around the courtyard in elongated circles. Warriors and Paladins lept off their steed to confront the undead head on. Alexandros jumped too, leaving Paragon to charge a group of skeletal mages as he pulled Arcanite Reaper from his back.
"For Lordarean!" He charged, cannon fire sounded from inside the bastion. The cavalry had arrived and the slaughter had become a battle.

Alaric spun around and growled angrily as a group of crusaders came from behind. His growl turned into a wicked laughter, however, when he understood that their numbers were barely over two dozen.
"Ragnar!" he bellowed, hurling a death coil at a horse charging at his precious skeletal mages. "Deal with these intruders! Take command of the reinforcements!" Dalson added, seeing as dozen after dozen of undead poured into the square after the cavalry, led by Timmy the Cruel and Magistrate Barthilas.

Alexandros Hopewell
Crusader's Square
Damnit, didn't realize how many were behind us
Alexandros watched as a dark green spell flew through the air, it slammed into the horse and toppled its rider.
More connon fire, further away. The Scarlets inside were moving back.
He looked up at the Death Knight who had hurled the spell. He was leading the charge inside, and Alex couldn't help but notice him.
There was another, covered in the blood of Crusaders, a Worgen who must have also been a Death Knight. And large ghoul seemed to be leading most of the undead which had rushed in behind them.
"Okay snake, time to die..." Alexandros said, mosly to himself, as he turned and charged the Death Knight who had taken down the horseman.

"You challenge me, traitor?" Alaric demanded, hurling another death coil - this time aiming at Alexandros's chest - and jumped off of his skeletal steed, with a flick of his fingers sending it back into the realm of shadows. The death knight raised his massive maul and waited patiently for the crusader to come closer.

Alexandros Hopewell
Crusader's Square
Alexandros swung Aracnite Reaper, destroying the death coil mid-flight.
"You call me a traitor? Look at yourself! You are little more than a monster!"
Alexandros lept into the air, the axe held above his head as he flew through the air at the Death Knight.

"I fight for my prince and my country, defending the land I was born in from the insurgents like you, willing to tear it apart. So yes, hypocrite, I call you a traitor."
Without any effort, Alaric swung his maul and clashed it with the Arcanite Reaper, catching it into a parry lock. He then kneed Alexandros hard into abdomen and headbutted the crusader into the forehead.
