As we are setting up a Bastion of Twiligt epic gear farm my friend invites a rogue that have 358 item Level. That is some good gear! Untill I inspect him... He stands there in full PvP Gear with trinkets and so on. Kicked instantly. Is there any chance that blizzard could remove Item level from PvP gear? I mean, is it necessary with Item level in PvP? I thought that it was the resilience and skill that was of interest. PvP players is just ruining the PvE thanks to the destroying high amount of Item Level.

The 4 piece set bonus from PvP pieces are actually better than PvE pieces. They are so good that they are getting a nerf.
I consider this ironic that Blizz would nerf PvP gear because it affects PvE but not vice versa.
PvE gear never affects PvP like that.
If you decide to PvP in tier gear, you will literally explode in Arenas.

I have actually read that, for retribution paladins in particular, 4pc S9 is superior to t11 until the 4pc bonus.
I really think if Blizzard actually wants players to wear PvE gear, they should stop making it look so horrible (see: Paladin Tier 11) or at least put better bonuses on it. I swear to god, t11 has to be the most atrocious looking tier set so far, next to the armored christmas tree.

Maybe for pallies, but mage gear looks tasty.

Your complaining about the Pally T11? Have you seen my poor warrior? I'm farking Space-Gojira! And don't even get me started on Shaman's.
Seriously, what happened after the beautiful T2s? Look at a pally's T2 (still one of the most populat armor sets) compared to ANYTHING from wrath or cata. BC had a few nice sets, but nothing great.

For Ret Pallys/Surv Hunters, 4pc PvP is like BiS right now.
Perhaps that poor Rogue was onto something that you didn't know.
