I see a TON of PvP nerfs, and no word on a fix for improved soul fire =/

Bah as an affliction lock I who raids and pvp's I'm not pleased at all.
Curse of Exhaustion now reduces movement speed by 30%, down from 50%.
Great instead of having equal snares with melee we now have a lesser again ><
Drain Mana has been removed from the game.
A great tool, it was very powerful so this one I can understand. Just would have liked something in return I guess. Oh well.
Unstable Affliction's silence effect has been reduced to 3 seconds, down from 5.
The main point of it is to scare people from wanting dispelling it. A shaman dispelling it already out-heals the damage and the hardly get stunned now anymore. Bah.

Seems like the other classes got more attention than we did this patch. Oh well, maybe next time.

nah, attention is what kids want from their parents. i think all of us here know that there aren't many warlock notes because we're generally in a decent state.
they clearly have some PvP balancing that they think is necessary. they've said they'll look at iSF so we'll see what they have in mind in the fullness of time no doubt.

Aye, the CoEx nerf and UA silence nerf is going to hurt. Now even more healers are going to dispel it. However, the nerfs to warriors and ferals make these seem bearable. Charge/intercept on same CD is awesome and allows for more kiting, and ferals being fear-able will make them much easier to keep off you and kill.

Sometimes i wonder what the developers are thinking.
UA is supposed to be a dispel protection, but everyone is already mindlessy dispelling it.
You might think that they are just bad to do so, but that isnt the case. In fact, you trade the mana you save from healing the lower UA dispel dmg instead of the dmg from two dots you dispelled for 5 seconds of silence. This is a good deal these days as mana matters and with increased HP pools 5 sec silence is not as strong as it was pre-cata.
What UA needed was either an increase of dispel dmg or an extention of the silence time, which was particularly important to offset the removal of drain mana.
No comment on CoEx, this is plain stupid.
EDIT: (And no, its not just back to were it was pre 50% change...it had 43 yards range back then and 35 now)

Yep, ferals got the attention alright. Just not the correct one xD
About CoEx, it just makes the Sflame glyph even more mandatory.

Yeah but you cant keep that on a target the whole time like lolstring. So its a very temporary solutions.

I was more meaning druid resto and preist healers got some positive attention but hey, whatever.
I'm actually glad they are taking their time with ISF. Means they are taking it seriously and not just buffing/nerfing it. We need something totally different imo, ISF as it is, is just too strong. Blizz said they wanted us to have choices in out talent trees, but with ISF how it is, demo and aff have no choice in their sub tree. Well at least they have no choice if they want to do the best dps possible...

I would rather they flat out remove it then leave it as it is. It is early on a PTR patch though, so plenty of time for them to mull it over... But mark my words, if this patch goes live without a fix for ISF I will be raiding on my druid >.>

wow, you really feel that strongly?
personally i'm playing destro main spec right now (demo for magmaw) and i like it.
of course i can see that it's an inelegant talent particularly for the other specs and i look forward to seeing what blizz plans to do about it. however, as destro i enjoy the mechanic. i like how there's a bit of nuance to getting the most out of it (refreshing at the right time, only using immolate when the buff in place etc.)
that said, maybe i have less of a stake in this issue because i have a hunter (SV is really strong right now) and a healer both as geared as my lock and ready to use if i get bored or frustrated with the lock.

If they made the mechanic destro only, increased the buff duration to 30 seconds and decreased the cooldown to 25 seconds (even 28 seconds would be fine) I wouldn't have so much beef with it. Letting it stack with bloodlust would make it even more awesome... But as it is, hard casting a m-ffing SOUL FIRE every 4-5 spells on movement intensive fights is a real downer for me.
Knowing that you have to time it perfectly to obtain optimal DPS sucks, casting it a millisecond too soon and not having it refresh the buff sucks, it not stacking with bloodlust sucks and having an empowered imp proc come up mid cast sucks.
Glyph of lifetap was an annoying mechanic, but compared to
this
those days were heavenly.

It seems to me the mechanic is too restrictive. The time period of it is far too short considering it currently has the ability to be up all the time if you time it right. Frankly imo they either need to make it like bloodlust, where you use it for a short period ever so many minutes, or the need to dump it totally.

yup, i certainly don't disagree with any of that. i just quite enjoy it as destro.
