hmm, don't really agree with much of that.
haste is valued greatly but it plateaus. this change will mean that we can not practically reach the 30% plateau any more (at this raid tier) which will mean a far greater drop in out output than will be made up for with the altered iSF.
aff and demo are losing out, clearly, but i think we can expect some kind of compensation for that to be announced.

It'll be bad for this tier, but once we can reliably reach 30% or 50% haste it'll be better ^_^ That said, it is going to be very disappointing dropping from #1 DPS on quite a few fights to be standing next to the ret pallies ^_^ Maybe it won't be that bad, but I can't see us being as powerful as before. Maybe we needed balanced anyways, but I won't say I'm happy about that.
it will be easier to play Demo now at least so we'll see if that's more enjoyable after the patch.

Affliction
Curse of Exhaustion now has a 40 yards range, up from 30 yards.
Unstable Affliction now silences the dispeller for 4 sec, down from 5 sec.
Demonology
Demon Armor and Fel Armor now seem to be permanent (no longer lasts 30 mins?)
Fel Armor no longer regenerates the caster's life and increases his/her maximum mana by 10% instead.
Demon Soul
Demonic Aegis now increases the amount of mana granted by Fel Armor by 50/100% instead of the amount of life.
Demon Soul Imp effect has been changed to - Critical strike chance of your cast time Destruction spells increased by 30% for 20 sec.
Inferno now also increases the duration fo your Immolate by 6 sec.
Master Demonologist now increases the damage done by your demon servants and damage you deal while transformed into a demon by 16% (up from 12%). Each point of Mastery increases damage by an additional 2%. (Up from 1.5%)
Destruction
Aftermath is now a Tier 2 talent, down from Tier 3.
Improved Soul Fire is now a Tier 3 talent, up from Tier 2. No longer increases your spell haste and now increases your Fire and Shadow damage done by 4/8% for 15 sec after you deal damage with Soul Fire. This effect has a 6 sec cooldown.
Burning Embers effect now deals up to , down from damage.
Fiery Apocalypse now increases all fire damage you deal by 10.8% (up from 10%). Each point of Mastery increases fire damage by an additional 1.35%. (up from 1.25%)

Updated the OP to reflect most reenct patch notes. Notable changes:

-I guess they felt any life regen at all in PvE is OP?

I'm pretty happy with the possible changes so far. A little bit worried about the slight nerf to UA and the big reduction in CoEx, but I'm sure it'll be fine.
One final change I'd like to see is some cleaning up done on the Demon choice for Affliction.
While I have no real objections to using Succubus, I do miss the Fel Puppy.
While I could be a rebel and not use Succubus, my Min/Maxer craving will hate me for it.

With the change to Demonic Aegis, will it go from meh to something like the mana feed talent? More mana = less lifetaps = slight dps increase.
kinda but not really.
it's a 10% increase overall which will increase the portion of the mana pie chart that says "initial mana" but it does not provide any consistent regen. it's a plus, no doubt, but not particularly strong.

My understanding, though, is that while the PVP duration is being lowered the actual diminishing returns of the spell is being removed. So while before you could Fear for 12 seconds, then 6, then 2.5 (or something along those lines, can't remember exact numbers), now you can fear for 8 seconds every time.
I may be just misinterpreting, though.

The change to fel armor will pretty much make it usefull in group play only.
While the SP was usefull in PvP and solo play, the main benefit was the health regen.
Looks like we are supposed to use demon armor now.
Still waiting for the mage armor nerf.
