1. I guess it depends on what you think is "funny", however, opinions i've heard from guild mates and friends we're largely positive, as was mine. The new zones are a blast, i think Blizzard really outdone themselves.
BC and WotLK had some nice areas, but the majority of them wasn't really something new.
Cata gives you some unseen stuff. There's a
HUGE zone completely submerged in water
. (don't worry, you'll get a permanent ability that lets you swim faster after 5 minutes of questing in the zone and a fast underwater mount after about 20 minutes). Some people expressed dislike about the whole swimming thing, but the zone is so beautiful, fresh and unseen, i think most people like it.
Also, think of a
huge desert, bigger than Tanaris, but without the "booooooooooooooring-effect"
.
Quests also are much more versatile than ever before, something which they manage to improve with every expansion, IMHO.
2.
Can't talk about PvP, sorry.
3.
The dungeons are nicely done, and the heroic versions pack a real punch. I just hope they don't nerf them to hell and back because of whining players.
At this point, chances of a PUG going really well in heroics is still not too good. But if you're with guildies or happen to catch a PUG with competent players, they're not that hard eventhough you still need to keep it together.
Concerning raids i can't tell you anything yet, as we're having our first 25-man today. :)

Yes, if you already like World of Warcraft, you'll like the new expansion.

But how are Hunters faring at the moment? Are they gimped?
They have the highest dps atm.
No, they don't.
In the higher range of gear they do quite well, but they don't sit on the throne alone, they share it with... well, primarily warlocks. In the raid-starting gear range they a nowhere near it.
Also, differs a lot from encounter to encounter.

The new expansion is a mixed bag and not as rich as late Wotlk, IMO but it's still young, plenty of time to grow. Only 6 new zones compared to 10 in Northrend.
The difference being that in Northrend we got 10 new levels and in Cata we only get 5; I'd not expect as many zones for 5 levels as needed for 10. And even then, you don't need ALL of the new zones to cap.
I do agree it's still young (barely a month!) and there's plenty of time to grow.

The reason for being banned would have been emailed to the email linked to your battle net account.

Well, think of Vashj'ir, its actualy 3 zones, that makes it 8 zones, and remember Tol Barad, that makes it 10 :D
