Report him and the Rogue, both get bans for griefing, you'll probably get your money back....or you know, next time, just ignore it, run back to your corpse, go to the farthest rez location, and boot ass towards BB, where the Guards will kick the ever living @#$% out of both them.

If you want to catch him on technicalities, then note it's illegal to allow for cross-faction communication. Clearly, such communication occured.
Other then then that, this may well be considered "griefing".

Probably Real ID was how they were communicating.

edit: And if you're on a pvp server? Well, greifing happens. Not much you can do about that.
Can still be banned for attempted blackmail.
In my opinion I think this is great. It adds something to the game that is unusual, and you actually have to get help from your alliance or guild!
Um what? A pair of @#$%^&bags griefing people and stealing money is a good thing? Also, it was an Alliance person doing this to another Alliance person, or did you miss that?

This would be awesome on a RP server! Are you playing on a rp server?

This isnt griefing, as its not directed at a single person nor does it take place for a longer time.
Dunno if the cross faction stuff is a problem, prolly not.
Imo, its a great idea. Stuff like this should happen more often.

This is really considered blackmail/griefing? It seems a bit ridiculous how upsetting this type of thing is to people. Wouldn't most people just laugh at these two clowns?
Also -- you actually paid the gold to avoid a corpse run? wow, you're sure in for a long ride on that pvp server

First of all, it's not blackmail. It's a textbook highway robbery.
The highwaymen could possibly have action taken against them, but I don't think it's likely. You could have just ignored it, then reported them if they camped you:
that
is punishable.
If they were communicating via RealID or a third-party chat protocol, the cross-faction communication clause doesn't apply.

What server were you on? I think I might be able to teach these two a lesson...

Last I heard, camping
is not
punishable. I recall seeing a blue post a while back that stated something along the lines of "While we do not encourage or enjoy the concept of camping other players, it is part of playing on a PvP server."
Anyways, if this happened to me, I would trade them 20 gold and say "lol, you get points for the effort".

Huh, I was pretty sure that corpse camping was considered excessive griefing, and punishable, especially when there's a 50+ level difference.
