Heya! Before I jump in to a wall of text-ette, here is my
ArmorySo. This is really only a small gripe, but I feel that i'm not healing to the best of my ability. In most (Not all) Heroics (Dungeons) I sometimes only barely scrape through on boss fights, or i'm going OOM at about 25% and having to start sacrificing some of the DPS to keep the tank and myself up. If I can manage it I keep some heals going onto a Warlock or a Mage or whomever is currently sitting at the highest DPS. I'm not sure if it's my talent spec, my gear or simply my own lacking ability. I'll go over my healing "Priority" I guess you could call it in a second.
If you looked at my armory, you'll notice that I have no gems at the moment, that's because money is a little tight right now because of general laziness on my part. I'll be getting them sooner or later.
Now, my healing priority list;
Lifebloom x3 on the Tank, letting it bloom if the tank is under 3/4 health. Rejuvenation is up for a majority of boss fights on the Tank as well. If a DPS has taken any more than about 20k damage I chuck a Rejuvenation and a Swiftmend on them. I instruct my groups to stand in the Efflorescence when I join a dungeon. I use Natures Swiftness and Healing Touch on the Tank after certain high damage abilities. (Like the big Twilight Zealots'
Shadow Strike in Blackrock Caverns) If too many people are taking damage, i'll make sure the Tank has 3 stacks of Lifebloom then Regrowth whoever is taking the most damage, using up Clearcasting procs ASAP so as not to waste one. If I have to use Tree of Life (Which admittedly I could use more in boss fights, I just need to work on hitting it at a convenient time) I keep 1 stack of Lifebloom on everyone but the tank, who has 3, then use the nearly constant Clearcasting procs to Regrowth everyone, Swiftmending when they need it. Most people will say to use Nourish as much as possible, but the long cast time doesn't make it very practical. I do try to use it, but more than half the time i'll end up cancelling in favor of a Regrowth, sometimes even substituting a Healing Touch for a Nourish, because the healing is an acceptable trade-off for having the longer cast time.
Not so much a priority list as what I use and when, but still, that's better than nothing.
Any advice anyone could give me (Talent spec, healing "Priorities" or whatever) Would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!
Mal
EDIT: Just thought i'd add that the pieces of cloth gear I have are only there because they were (And are) a massive upgrade to anything else I could get off the Auction House. If I see any leather pieces drop you know i'll be all over that *!@# xD
