So level 60 and I find that I pull 3 mobs often very often and would like to find a pet that has some type of AOE ability to hit more than 1 person. Closest I found was a Chimera that does a AOE attack. I am open to any suggestions.

Bears, with
Demoralizing Roar
?
I believe all of the pet moves that used to do damage were changed to be buffs or debuffs, so it doesn't leave you with much overall (outside of thunderstomp).
Others:
Fox -
Tailspin
Sporebat -
Spore Cloud
Tallstrider -
Dust Cloud
Carrion Bird -
Demoralizing Screech
Possibly more, but I just overlooked them.

That drops them from the aggro table.
Nope. It actually does not. The mobs will continue to attack the worm unless something has changed recently.

I tried doing a Burrow Attack and the targets instantly dropped off the worm and went for me. Not sure what else was going on... Hrm.. Maybe I should check again.
But to the OP, as stated earlier, any Tenacity pet can learn
Thunderstomp
.

By 'recently', do you mean 4.0.3? Because that's when Burrow Attack was given the threat mechanic of a pally's bubble.
Hmm. That can't be right.
