Add
Assassin's Step
to the Boot enchants, as an agility alternative.
I would disagree. That's a pvp-enchant, so you're probably refering to
Major Agility
, which is a very good alternative to the stamina ones.
NO!
Running speed = good
. It makes you run out of fire faster and makes you reach the boss/adds/anything just that little bit sooner. Every serious raider (which doesn't have a passive run speed increase, e.g. feral kitties) should have it.
There's 3 such enchants:
Assassin's Step
Earthen Vitality
Lavawalker
It's pretty obvious agi is the best option, but it's also the most expensive. I'm using the stam one because I'm a cheap bastard.

Not sure if this has been suggested, but seeing as Feral DPS druids want Mastery now, more then pretty much anything else, the
Puissant Dream Emerald
is a nice addition.

afaik kitties want
Glinting Demonseye
in blue sockets, and ONLY if the socket bonus makes up for the 20 agi you'd lose by not putting in a delicate inferno ruby.
At least hit isn't wasted (or less wasted) compared to stam.

Indeed. Mastery is our most sought after
secondary
stat, but it's not even close to Agility (nor Strength for that matter) in terms of DPS-per-point (unless something has changed drastically in the last few weeks). If for some reason you especially wanted Stamina and you'd decided that it was worthwhile to socket a Blue gem for a socket bonus,
Shifting Demonseye
would be the the right choice. But in terms of DPS increase,
Etched Demonseye
would be better, and
Glinting Demonseye
would be best (unless, for some crazy reason, you're hit capped).

An absolutely epic post, and deserving of a sticky, IMHO... :)

Problem is, if you remove the energy scaling from FB, when
all
you're doing is FB to roll Rip at execute range, you don't have the option of converting excess energy (which you should have at that point) into extra FB damage.
Especially
now that the Glyph of Rip effect is
reset

Nom nom nom. Say you get 2 crit Shreds or Mangles plus another non-crit of the same, that's only 3 attacks to return to 5 CP plus increase duration on Rip. You now have all the time in the world to pool to the maximum energy that FB can consume to improve its damage.

As was established in another thread, I'm bad; but, I use a FB pre-25% very infrequently and usually regret having done it when I do.

Greatings
I had been reading about the feral druid tank on diferent places and everywhere it says that i should reforge stuff like hit/expertise/mastery to dodge.
I dont raid a lot, but going away from expertise/hit is a strange thing to me. Or even on heroics. Missing (this includes misses/dodges/parrys) the first mangle would leave me just with enough rage for a lacerate or a swipe if it is a pack. I see the dps pulling the aggro from the main target in no time.
Things get even worse if i miss the next normal hit, wich means im now without rage for almost everything.
Sure after some time i can get the aggro back, but my problem is on the begining of the fight. I fear going to raids like this. I see 10% chance for a "boss" to parry my atacks. Missing the first 2 atacks is my nightmare.... :(
What can i do to help preventing this situation?
I still put some (not all) gems to expertise and try to get some hit gear to help me, but it seems im going away from whats best stats to tank.
Sitting at around 170k life and 30% dodge,12 masterie, 4.4% hit, and 19 expertise (values not totally accurate)
Thanks

I pretty much always use growl pulling single targets with 16 people itching to DPS it. There's literally no other viable option in my guild :). 5-mans ... eh. No.

Impairing. Not roots. Dash breaking roots would actually be a reasonable cooldown.

I would like to see the Glyph of Dash upped from 20% to 33%, or 1 min reduction in the CD, making dash 2min CD.
I second that. Atm the cd is too long to even use it on every air phase in the Atramedes fight :-/
