Yeah, with the intrinsic bonus movement from talents in our tree, getting a +move speed enchant seems moot.

Gear
...
Cat enchants:
Feet -
Assassin's Step
...
This is the enchant he was referring to. The one specifically listed under Cat enchants.
Edit: Man, posting things while everyone is on and updating stuff makes me feel slow. :)

I would pretty much never get a speed enchant for my feet as a cat unless there was nothing else... isn't that kind of redundant?

Speed boost only if you don't already have a talented one.

A little off topic here, however I was curious if someone could explain to me whether mastery stats only affect new bleeds or both new and existing bleeds. In addition, would that also apply to the mangle debuff. See example below for clarification.
Skardyn's Grace
if I use this trinket does the mastery stats only affect newly applied dots or only the dots while I am under the effects of the trinket.
Same for
http://www.wowhead.com/spell=33876
. Does mangle have to be applied first to affect the bleeds or will it take effect as soon as it's applied?
Thanks
Cânt

so use the trinket before applying bleeds and as long as the mangle debuff is up......it will affect the current dots regardless of application. Yes?

Is the meta gem for Kitty Spec going to chance with Blizz announcing a +agil/ crit meta gem on the patch notes?
Post by
LookOut
Yes, agi > crit, because agi gives both AP and crit to kitties. And it stacks with MotW/Kings.

I didn't read all posts but wanted to say something about the talent tree of Feral Cat:
I understand the temptation of having +4% crit from
Master Shapeshifter
but having this talent make us spend 3 points total (with 2 in
Natural Shapeshifter
) that i think are not necessary.
Instead i prefer to have those 3 points in
Thick Hide
because in a raid/dungeon it's a huge help to the healers (less they need to heal you, more heal for others).
For me, the 10% more Armor beats the reduction of mana from shapeshift (you really shapeshift a lot in a raid/dungeon fight?) and the 4% crit.

Yep. The minor survivability gained by Thick Hide's effect on your armor in Cat Form is far less important than wasting 2 points in NS and gaining the crit from MS. Also, as Alundrei said, I'll echo that any damage you take is 90% likely to be magical rather than physical. Physical is melee swings, cleaves and perhaps stuff like rocks dropping on your head, even though sometimes that's even classified as Nature. At least melee swings and cleaves should never be landing on you.

So I'm gonna post this in here cuz I hate making new threads. My guild finally got their tank situation straight (or, we hope they did) so I did a full regem, re-enchant and re-reforge to DPS. My health in bear form dropped something like 15-20k, but my survivability tanking in that gear (with a proper tank spec, of course) actually went UP. My dodge is as high or higher than it was with dodge reforging and my attack power and crit are obviously both higher. I figure it's a combination of the increased avoidance and the greater Savage Defense due to higher AP and higher crit.
What do you guys think? Of course, my healers and co-tanks are kind of iffy about the Stamina change, but (1) I shoudn't be tanking, damnit, and (2) I think it's actually better this was as long as they can respond swiftly to encounter mechanics. I still have like 160k health fully raid buffed and over 200k with FR up.
