Yes, and you get desperate when you don't. Last night some random girl asked me if I was 18 so I could by her some cigarets, I don't even look like I'm 18 nor am I...

I get frustrated when people are blatant $%^&*! bags. I have a very,
very
low tolerance for @#$%^&-baggery. I can't hold my self from confronting these people. My best friend in high school knew this very well, she got into the habit of saying: "Oh, don't worry about him, he's just an $%^&*!@." when ever I spoke my mind.
Eh, that's a bit $%^&ty. Kudos to you for confronting people %^&*!ing around though, I know most people don't.

Today's really been one of those sh*t days.
Living with my huge, extra-religious family is frustrating by itself, but today has just been a pain in the ass.
For one thing, my hair is absolutely nasty because when I took a shower last night, someone had taken the shampoo out of our shower and moved it to the other one. Funny how we don't have enough money to buy two bottle of shampoo so that each bathroom can have one, but we have enough money to buy the extra-special all-natural organic clothing detergent, and a new $400 blender, and drive to Austin to go to my great-grandma's birthday party. The biggest frustration here is the conflict between my priorities and my parents priorities. For me, practicality is most important. Live modestly and then splurge every once in a while. For my parents (actually, my mom, but my dad will do anything she asks. It's actually kind of pathetic and depressing the way he apologized to me last year for forcing me into a Jewish lifestyle at my mom's bidding when I was a kid, since we weren't really Jewish and it was a great big lie, while now he's going right along with her obsessive resurgence into forcing Judaism into every aspect of our lives, from doing Hebrew Torah-study for school, to using Hebrew words like "Shavaot" instead of Sabbath, or even Shabbat, like we used to. I honestly have lost a great deal of respect for him because of this whole situation. He flip-flops from engaging in verbal deathmatches with my mom to trying to reconcile himself by following along blindly with her every whim. But I digress...)
Anyway, for my Mom/Parents, the most important thing is to be all-natural. This is pretty deeply engrained in my mom. I';m just glad that we're allowed to drink caffeine now. We used to not be allowed to drink Coke because "Caffeine is a drug, and drugs are evil." We still don't get vaccinated though. Real glad no one's contracted polio yet. But yeah. My mom believes that "God knows best" and gave us every thing we need in nature (she's real big on alternative medicine).
While I definitely think all-natural foods can certainly be better than processed food, we use a significantly larger portion of our money on food and cleaning products because Mom has to get all-natural and organic products.
But I digress yet again. This is merely a stream-of-consciousness. I'm venting my feelings.
So yeah, part of my problem is that I'm frustrated that we are so low on money while we still pay for so many unnecessary things.
But that's just a general feeling I have. Today was special. Why was it special? Well, the biggest thing has got to be my package that came in the mail today. I ordered Pokemon SoulSilver new from Amazon a few days ago. You see, my brother and I both wanted Pokemon SoulSilver. I ordered mine the same day I ordered FireRed; it was like $27 for a Like New copy that included the pokewalker. Well, on Thursday, the day before our big trip, I decided to check GameStop and Best Buy for a copy for my brother, so that he could have something to play on the trip. I found one at Best Buy and went to purchase it, but my card was declined. So I went home frustrated, but found that my package had come. So I opened it, and SoulSilver was inside. It was in excellent condition, with the manual, Pokewalker, and a perfect condition game cartridge. So, being a nice big brother, I decided to give that one to my brother for the trip, and get another one for myself later, using the money I was going to use for his.
Well, before the trip, I found a good deal on a New one on Amazon, ordered it, and then more or less forgot about it. I went on the trip, which was stressful in its own right, and got back yesterday.
Well, this morning my package came. I was pretty excited, because I had seen my brother play SoulSilver and was totally jealous. Well, the first thing that I noticed was that it didn't come with the Pokewalker, even though it said it was "New." I shrugged it off and got playing. After getting my Pokedex, I decided to try to use the Mystery Gift feature, but that didn't work. I decided to consult my manual, but the manual was all weird. It wasn't an Instruction Booklet, but more like a review slash Pokemon retrospective. It was at that point I became suspicious. I looked at the cartridge, and it didn't have the infrared sensor that my brother's had. The sticker on the cartridge was different, too, and it looked poor resolution. I became fairly certain that it was a pirated game. So I looked up a guide on how to tell and noticed several more signs.
I went to Amazon, and tried to get a refund, but apparently the seller has not set up their refund system, and I had to contact the seller myself. No reply back yet. I'm afraid that I'll just end up getting stuck with it and lose even more money buying a legit copy.
Oh, and my parents are still pissy at each other and us. My dad keeps yelling at everyone. We had to shut off our water because a pipe outside broke, and I had to go take a bunch of recycling down to the recycling center in extremely hot temperatures with no air conditioner because our car's fan on sometimes decides to work.

^ Good luck.
Studied law because I thought lawyers earn a lot. Yeah, right. The average income is high because of a few bastards who charge $2000/hr.
Want a trip to Europe but flights are $%^&ing expensive.

So I guess that means none of your siblings go to school then?Nope. They're all homeschooled.
And by homeschooled, I mean Sunday-schooled. They literally do not do any educational work that does not involve the bible.

to using Hebrew words like "Shavaot" instead of Sabbath, or even Shabbat, like we used to.
Wait, isn't Shavuot its own holiday? The only words for Sabbath I know are Shabbat/Shabbas, and I think I may be missing one other, but definitely not Shavuot.
That said, I feel for you man. Especially on the homeopathic medicine part (read: 'bull&*!@ wizardry'). I'm not going to pretend we're having financial difficulties, I mean we're far from rich, but we're not struggling. However, when I have an eczema breakout that starts getting all over my face and making it itchy, and sometimes even painful (besides not looking particularly nice, and I am a teenager), and she tells me to use this sticky oily crap instead of what the doctor gave me (it was a steroid cream, not 'natural' enough for her), and it didn't work as I suffered through having burning dry skin that seemed to be oozing puss at one point and be generally disgusting, and on top of that a layer of what felt like pigfat, to get her to shut up, I used the doctors one. Gone in two days. Then I stopped using it and it came back and she told me it's because I didn't use her one, which would take it away forever, because the guy who sold it to her said it cured his (wonder why he would say that...?).
That said, that's over, and I've come to rant about something different. Well, two things actually.
The first is WoW related. So get ready to hear first world problems.
My guild's been 11/12 for a couple weeks (D/ced on the last 200k of our Al'akir kill, but that's another frustration). We'd waited a week or two before we started Nefarian. We spent the majority of our raids clearing farm content (again). We got some attempts in, learned the fight, etc. The next week we were missing too many people. As time went on, this trend continued. Eventually it got to the last two weeks before the patch. We got Nefarian to 9%, but it was incredibly sloppy, and then for some reason everyone decided to call it a night, because that makes total sense.
The next week people didn't show up, and our raid leader lost his authenticator or something, but he hasn't been on in weeks. We cleared farm content first (again). More attempts, didn't go to well, missing a lot of core players. Warlock quit WoW, Hunter was moving for the previous two weeks, Raid Leader (Resto Drood) gone, didn't work out so well. I think we did get him to 7%.
The week before the patch, raid leader still isn't back, but the Warlock and Hunter are there on Friday. However, this means more people to learn the fight. Furthermore, we started noticing bugs. Onxyia and Nefarian's aggro table was messed up as hell, switching randomly even when the tank had more than twice the aggro everyone else did. While this usually only happened in the beginning few minutes of the fights, it would occassionally lead to Nefarian or Onyxia nomming a healer and DPS (would happen constantly, taunts have a cooldown), leading to a wipe. One time Nefarian breathed on the adds.
Next week. Didn't get him down on Friday (hurr hurr). It was the final week, so we planned to do a raid on Monday if we didn't get it down on Sunday, so everyone decided this meant they didn't have to show up on Sunday. People didn't show up on Monday, and we put together a ragtag group including many of the second raid-group raiders, people kept leaving and coming back, glitches were back worse than ever, (one time in the third phase the adds blitzed and killed the group randomly, in the middle of a kiting phase (i.e. they had not just gone down), wiping us on what looked to be our best attempt. We got him to 5%, people started getting tired, and it didn't happen. There goes my pre-nerf Nef kill.
Another is school. I had to pick up my report card today, didn't get to bed 'til three because of people outside, had to wait in line for an hour despite being third, return my books, and I'd lost one single Physics textbook we never used once and were arbitrarily handed out, and apparently I have to pay $143 for it. I would sooner $%^& on 143 bucks than give it to my school the way they operate. The teachers and courses are great, the school itself disorganized and tends to treat you like crap. I found on Amazon new copies for 80 bucks (how the hell is this *!@# so expensive?) and used copies for 5 bucks (lol). I went to school feeling sick and tired waited in a line for an hour before being moved to another line, didn't get my report card and got a 143$ bill, and now my dad's on my ass about it. Not a *!@#ing good day.
Edit: The best part? I'm still going to have to deal with the %^&*-storm that the actual Report Card will have, no matter what the grades are.

Wait, isn't Shavuot its own holiday? The only words for Sabbath I know are Shabbat/Shabbas, and I think I may be missing one other, but definitely not Shavuot.Probably. I really haven't been paying as much attention to the whole Jewish thing as I did last time we were Jewish.
Sucks about WoW. I myself can't raid, because of my broken keyboard. 5, 6, and Left Ctrl don't work, so I'd rather not embarrass myself trying to raid without my keybindings.
And in regards to school, that also sucks. Textbooks are such a scam. They always release a new edition so they can charge you the full $150 or whatever for them (and for %$#@'s sake, it's a book. Should it really be that expensive? It's not like its electronic or anything.). I love Biology, and regretted not being able to really study my textbook in AP biology (it was a class, and the grades were all that mattered, so I just looked up the answers to the questions, even though I wanted to take it slow and get a real grasp on the content instead). So I bought a used copy for $12 to keep. Haven't actually studied it since, but I do want to, especially once I'm a medic in the army.

There was some guy in our parking lot, on his cell phone, that one of my co-workers noticed about 10 minutes before another co-worker went out to smoke, and saw the damage. That's kind of strange, because we're not a company that's open to the public, and our staff parking is pretty small. There was only about a 25 minute window between when someone came in and my car was fine, and when someone went out to smoke, and it was busted. And the guy was there during that time. Cops still haven't arrived, though, so at this point even if he had stayed in the neighborhood for a little while after, he's probably gone.
Sigh...

I keep getting backings on sideways on the quilting machine...which results in me getting them almost finished before I know what's happened and having to seam rip the whole thing back out and start over >.< GRRRR I just don't have a good way to measure them in my work area (and no room for a full cutting table to measure with) they SHOULD get the top edge marked before they leave the quilt shop and come to me but my mom/grandma are fallin down on their end and it's making more work for all of us and losing money. And it's making me crazy :(
Edit: -er, craziER...but still -.-
