Why Rupture?

Why would i need to keep rupture up during raid encounters?
Ive done a little research on how much DPS this does. In my case i was like 90,5 Dps. This was with around 1500 AP
The dmg output per 2sec was 181 and it lasted 16 sec, which gives it 8 times to strike.
Calculation: (181 x 8 = 1448/16 = 90.5 DPS)
So: Why would i need to keep rupture up during raid/boss encounters?
When Envenom or Eviscerate offers more DPS? (Note: No numbers behind this statement, this is just something i have experienced i think :P)
Just slap me if im totally in the fence.

Because
Rupture with 1500 AP: 1360 damage
Eviscerate with 1500 AP: 1270 damage
This is without talent and you need to reduce Eviscerate damage based on target damage. Also Eviscerate cost 10 more energy than Rupture.
And more AP you will get, more Rupture will do better than Eviscerate. Rupture use 24% of your AP while Eviscerate use 15%

i may be wrong, but dont you think thoese bt raiders and freaks (sorry the language) would have found out if it was? and if they found out it would get on the worldofwarcraft forum, and then to the wowhead forum... ?
end yes, rupture can be missed.
It doesnt scale with ap
but eviscerate does a little bit.
Huh? Rupture scale with AP. 5 cp = 24% of your AP is added.

yeah rupture its way better than eviscerate in raid, especially with a druid in party.
its not only for its damage and his energy cost, but also for the aggro it causes. the aggro with rupture will go up slowly and constantly, allowing you to control it easier than critting a huge eviscerate and working on aggro spikes. so u can do your dps more efficiently and dont waste energy on feint.
envenom does damage, but "cleansing" deadly poison from your target, and u dont want it.

I hate how people say "You're stupid if you raid with subtlety."
I've used a subtlety build and out-dpsed combat swordies every time.
I think you should let a man do his job however he wants and then be the judge whether that person sucks or not AFTER they've had a chance instead of kicking them BEFORE you find out what they can do.
Subtlety isn't a bad build, although not exactly spectacular. A combat rogue with equal gear and that knows how to play his build WILL out dps you in prolonged fights. Stronger ruptures and much higher ap/agi is good, but it doesn't come close to the benefits of DW specialization, precision, improved slice and dice, combat potency, and all that other good stuff. Don't forget that white damage is strongest.
