WoW on the other hand, in comparison to Warhammer, is more balanced. Questing is much better. PvP is better, PvE is better. It is a better game and yet, the price for War and the price for WoW are almost the same. And since WoW is superior to Warhammer, technically, they could charge MORE if they wanted to (and probably get away with it too.)
Yeah, and do you feel it was right for Warhammer to charge so much for such an inferior product? And yet the whole MMO market is infected with this kind of over pricing.
I can not for the life of me understand people who do not want the best deal for their money. Blizz can clearly afford to give us more content for less money. Why would you people sit here and say; "Nah its cool Blizz, I don't like saving money or getting more content."
WoW
is
the best deal for my money.

Pretty sure Blizz treats us fairly with regards to price. The markup is insane because it can be. We allow it to be so. Blizz isn't undercutting us, so i don't see why people should complain.

If you think you're not getting your money's worth, simply stop paying. It's just supply and demand. As long as the demand is out there at a certain price, they can charge that price. Honestly, the hours of entertainment I get out of WoW are greater than the hours spent making $15 bucks.

And its a damn shame. I really hope Guild Wars 2 knocks them off their high horse
It's a damn shame that WoW is my favorite MMO? I find the fact that I enjoy WoW quite enjoyable.

And its a damn shame. It's a shame that such a price gouging is considered the best deal. I really hope Guild Wars 2 knocks them off their high horse

Warhammer was charging too much, since their project was %^&*ty.
I would like to add something to this statement.
Warhammer was not charging too much because of some objective "charging" scale. They were charging too much because WoW already existed and was providing better game per dollar.

The thing is, Blizzard
can't
give you more for your money. Did you know one of the main reasons Blizzard stalled Starcraft 2 was because they needed people for WoW? And now they're essentially remaking WoW. There's a reason why Wrath is till going.
Secondly, $15 dollars isn't that much. heck, I go to High School and have no job, and I can still pay it easily (from various one shot jobs).
Thirdly, WoW is not a monopoly. They aren't trying to shut other people out of the market. Other people don't join the market for very long because, frankly, they suck. WoW is a better game than you are giving it credit for.

This entitled belief that luxury goods should be universally affordable...is dangerous.
OMG how can you say that. This MERICA son! Home of big screens, inflatable chairs, and fat guts. Luxury should be universally affordable! We have the right to pursue happiness, and we should pursue it by forcing the cost of luxury goods down.
I can't tell if this is sarcasm or just...
