Being a second gen DK is fine..but I personally wouldn't tie the character into so many lore ones.
Fighting the Second War is alright, relocating to Alterac is alright but I wouldn't have him have a connection to the Pernolde family. Being a landowner in Lordaeron is fine, but I wouldn't really have the connection to the Baron, since he was well known for being stand offish.
Being a part of the Culling is fine but hearing the voice of Ner'zhul not so much; it seemed like it was those who were interested in necromancy heard it, which is how Kul'Thuzad and the others ended up as members of the Cult of the Damned, but if you didn't have that connection, it wouldn't really reach you from what it seems. All DK's received runeblades and were with Arthas at the time of KT's resurrection into a Lich. Speaking with the Lich is fine, since he still had his furor for the Cult after his rising.
I personally wouldn't do the Tharon'ja thing since it's implied that the Trolls had him captured first and it was Novos who performed the actual deed. Fighting the forces of Illidan is fine, since all of the Scourge Northrend had encounters against them. And the mine is fine as well.

He could be an Alterac noble; nothing wrong with that, but with all of the lore knots around the family line there, I personally wouldn't tie a character into that since there are too many snags to get tripped up on. The betrayal wasn't well known among the lower class though; it was something Pernolde and a few others did, and they moved any forces they knew wouldn't go along with it into remote places where they wouldn't fight the Dark Horde and break that pact. It's why Trollbane's forces were enraged and attacked those traitors as well as letting the loyalist know too.
Due to the fact that
the Eternal Spirit
exists, it is possible that Tharon'ja was a Loa itself that was corrupted like so many others seen in Gundrak and stolen by the Troll's then used by the Scourge.

In most RP's, being related to a Lore figure is stretching it and throws up some warning signs; happens here too if it is a direct character as opposed to a story character. An example of that is in some of our future RP's we have had the children of lore characters as a focus point but no one was actually RPing as the scion.
It's a thing that happens; if an event is known to have specific things, you can have your character be on the outside but probably shouldn't be a central member of that event. The Keep was invaded by the Scourge and taken over but a lot of the info on that comes from an RPG book which doesn't have full canon connection. I know it says that Mal'ganis was defeated there, but that's also not completely clear either. Having your character be part of the new group that took over the Keep with Novos works but since we don't know who exactly raised the bone version of the Loa up, I wouldn't suggest having that in.
The Fall Paladins
: after re-reading that, it would be possible to have him be drawn to the Lich King itself. After all there are three types of the G2 DK's; those who went willingly like Rivendare, those who were corrupted like Arthas, and then those who died and didn't have a choice like Falric, Marwyn, Thassarian and Koltira.

Looks like the only thing I need for my computer is a new power supply. Hope my old one works in the meantime.

Nice avatar Adams. I just recently watched through Gravity Falls as well, such a great show. I wish there were more seasons.

Yeah I love Bill; and I wish there were more seasons but at the same time I don't, since I wouldn't want to see it stagnate like a lot of other ones. But it was very well written and the over all mystery was great.
Edit: Yes I know you are not suppose to love the villain..but Bill was an actual evil being. There was no chance of redemption, no hidden trauma in his past, he was just a straight up evil monster from the 2D world that enjoyed causing pain and suffering for the fun of it. The fact that he was campy and lovable was just the icing on the cake.

The fact that he was campy and lovable was just the icing on the cake.I always felt like Bill was a case of Blue and Orange morality. He wasn't "evil" in the human sense, because he didn't make any attempt to abide by human morality one way or another. His goal was to take over the the 3rd dimension for the fun of it, and humans were just a funny, ignorant pest race in his way.
Other favorites include Stan (because as *!@#ty as he could be, he always felt like a man of mystery who had lived a long an interesting life before the show; I loved his fight scenes too), Wendy (for being an overall cool, smart, lumberjack girl), and Dipper (for being a know-it-all smart guy like me). Soos (I loved the Yandere Dating Simulator episode) and Candy (for having BIMO's voice and being generally pretty funny) get Runner-Up awards.

I liked both of the Stans; the Grunkle and Ford and that was one of the best things about the Tale of Two Stans, seeing all of that. Wendy was an awesome character but she got shunted out of the limelight too much at times. Dipper is awesome. I liked Grenda a bit more then Candy..but that could be because of the fact that her idea of a weapon was to hit things with a chair haha. Soos was fairly deep.

That's funny. I had a hunch based on your name, and a few of us on the board were doing the same thing (though it was generally with our Steam profile names). Lightnstuff was going by unauthorizedPetulance for a while, and my steam name is still set to depressiveCompulsive. :P
It's just funny to meet someone new on L&RP who already had the same idea.
