How many times do users like that actually wander out of the thread they've chosen though?

I'm getting ready to post my orc mage's biography, but I'm running into some problems.
The first one is, Shredtooth was originally a boosted character. I spent the money to turn him from a Orc fresh from the Valley of Trials to a level 90 arcane mage, and after a LOT of crashing and burning, he's one of the main characters I play. But, he's never gone through the older content. I don't feel like I can say, "Sure, he's done his part fighting under Warchiefs Thrall and Garrosh," or "he's gone toe-to-toe with Illidan Stormrage and survived," because he wasn't created until last year.
The best explanation I could think of for him suddenly arriving during the Siege of Orgrimmar was that the Bronze Dragonflight was involved. My thinking was, the Flight saw the threat that Garrosh Hellscream posed to Pandaria (and by extension Azeroth), and saw the need for powerful adventurers - lots of them. They used their magic to go back in time, pluck members of all races from their original timelines, and bring them to the present. Shredtooth was one of them. One moment he's about to do the Valley of Trials, and the next, he's given armor and a staff and dumped in Pandaria.
"Are you good with magic?"
"Uh, I think so."
"Great! You're going to be a master of Arcane magic. Here's your spellbook, staff, and robes. Good luck!"
"Wait, wha-"
The second problem is, Shred is a bit of a jerk. He thinks he's one of the best mages around, and he's not afraid to let people know it. Thankfully his guild boss keeps him in line, but I don't think people will want to RP with someone who'll treat them like a peon. I want to say it's because he's trying to establish a pecking order with people he works with, but that seems like the lazy explanation.
Any thoughts? Ideas? I want people to enjoy RP'ing with him, like I said.

If you wanted to have a different explanation besides the Bronze, (Which there's nothing wrong with that of course. I have two characters that rely heavily on the Bronze.) you could just say that Shredtooth came out of the Valley just in time for the Siege, recruited by whatever side you want.
And don't worry about rude or obnoxious characters that look down on others. We have them in abundance. In fact, I think Shredtooth could be best buddies with my Gorshank. Welcome aboard the RP Forums!

I'd also add the fact that a large number of the characters in the forums haven't gone toe-to-toe with the Big Bads of WoW either, in part because we tend to write our own villains and in part because it'd be weird if absolutely everyone took party in every single boss fight. Would kind of make them like a big mafia 'family,' except scarier and a whole lot less believable.
After all, it weren't for those guys who run to fetch warm beverages -
potentially while being assaulted by wild badgers
- and a slay a couple of hundred enemy soldiers, the war would be lost. Nothing stops those from being interesting while they go about it, at times more so than the characters who turn up in blindingly-shiny armour and killsteal one of the more show-offy bad guys before disappearing again.
(Not saying you shouldn't have them be involved in those sorts of fights, but there's by no means a necessity to have them have been directly involved in all the boss battles. When it comes to lore, there always has to be somebody on hand to occupy the rest of the enemy's army, mainly so that those fighting the boss don't die surrounded and entirely outnumbered)

So, out of curiosity, if I were to resurrect
New Scourge
, (Or restart it, if that's your preference.) Would anyone be interested in it?

Worst case you could always set The Luggage on any pesky neighbours.
I miss my Discworld books...
Seriously though, a word of advice for anyone going on a trip like I am. Bring. A laptop. Or tablet, or something you can use to get internet. Not necessarily for a time waster (though useful for that too) but as a way to have some means of emergency communication and maps. Staying in hostels can be really tricky in that respect.

To be blunt and rude: No. To many RP happening for me to bother more of 'em.Worst case you could always set The Luggage on any pesky neighbours.

I though it was obvious that you should bring a computer wherever you go like a turtle, and the shell is the laptop, phone and/or tablet.

I do too and yet they're on the bookshelf behind me :(, but improving my German takes priority.
And I'd advise waiting Stab, I think most people here are at full capacity as is.

Maybe. It needs some work, a bit more info on what's going on and where.
Yeah it does, I'll start expanding upon it now.

Think it wasn't clear, Marcy's asking Susanna what her name is (since Caius already gave his and she doesn't know the names of any of the others).

I can't help but consider that, to your average onlooker in gen2, an Incubus just led four women into the inn...
Luckily, Zalexdrad is kinda a bad Incubus...

Will be back on the road tomorrow. I was staying with a relative the last few days, hence my internet posting, but don't know what it will be like afterwards.

Just for clarification Axiss is from the main timeline (so you don't get confussed that he is from AU:D).
