Okay Stab. First of all, Drag'Then is not among the attackers. If he was, I would have mentioned it.
Second, I think you may have missed the idea behind Genesis since you keep introducing incredibly powerful demons into the fray. The idea is that you don't have to make immensely powerful characters in order to do things. Really. Stop that. This is partly why
Wanted!
died.
Third, the Stonard attack is over. It was spillover from the Dark Portal, not an invasion force. The battle was to throw some people together, not consume the RP. That was the point of my posts mentioning that the attack was dying out, the demons were retreating, and that it was clean up time. It was not an invitation for a sudden second army to show up and start wrecking the place. That's called hijacking the plot, something we've talked about before, and really doesn't make you any friends.
You see, the thing about play by post RP's is that the majority of events don't happen in the middle of combat. It happens between, with people talking, arguing, planning, and sometimes fighting. If you want to engage in your plot, you have to hook people in with hints, or characters, or something like that. Get them interested and wanting to follow this trail, kill that villain, find that treasure. What you are doing here is shoving your plot into the players faces, forcing them to look at it and deal with it. It gets old, and when your demons are vastly more powerful than anyone else and you keep forcing fight scenes, no one is going to have fun except for you.
Stop flinging mobs at the characters.
Okay first; sorry for the late reply, I was away from my house. Second; I didn't realize your characters weren't there, so here is the second of many apologies. Lastly before I get started, I am writing this from my phone, so I apologize if this seems really brief or if there are any spelling/grammar errors.
I understand that the majority of people here are much older and more mature than I am, but that's not really an excuse for me :/ I'm still new to the RP thing, I'm still learning the rules. Unfortunately, I seem slow on the uptake.
Writing in Wanted was my first ever experience doing anything in a forum, and I'm sorry that I was the reason it died.
I did not mean to write any OP characters, I was just going to use Crilftah to give Margoon a chance to join with another character, and Life's Bane was created purely to introduce my two characters in Stormwind. I truly did not mean to hijack anyone's plot, and I am deeply sorry to anyone who was affected/offended. If anyone wants a personal apology, I will give it.
I really do enjoy writing with you guys, I have a lot of fun doing it, and I like to consider some of you friends. If you want me to back out of the RP or rewrite all only posts, I will do so once I get to a computer.
Once more, I am sorry. I hope that this type of thing doesn't occur again.

Not at all, Stab. I don't want you to abandon, leave, or anything like that. I like you and think you have a great future as an RP'er. I just wanted to make you aware of something you were doing that really puts people off.
And as for Wanted, there were a variety of things that killed that RP. You weren't all to blame.
We've all been new. I'm sorry if I was harsh, but I think it's best I explain it thoroughly once so we can both move past it and have fun. I'm not saying you should never introduce or try your own things, only that there are more conscientious ways to go about it.

Better to know early then later when things get to the point of no amount of work can fix something. Sides, whenever Money raises a critique, it's always intended to help make things better Stab, don't worry about it.

Aye, I wouldn't take it personally in the sense that people want you to leave Stab, I don't think Money would've gone to the extent of typing up that post if he didn't want you to - or believe you could - improve. iirc I took my first bit of criticism the wrong way too, though thankfully people pointed out that wasn't the case and I stuck around to become slightly less scrubby than before :P
Tbh it isn't actually that uncommon, afaik everyone has made some mistakes they've been called out on in their time here. It's just part of the learning process.
As for the age thing, I wouldn't worry too much about that either, I was fourteen when I started RPing and I think it's safe to say the vast majority of my characters were several calibers below yours. There's always room for improvement, and that goes for everyone.
On another, unrelated note: sorry I wasn't around much today for anyone that was waiting on me to post, didn't manage to get on at a decent time, but I should be able to do so tomorrow. Will post in M:C for now and try to take a look into Genesis 2 thus far before I head to sleep (I have to admit I haven't been able to get a decent moment to read through it properly yet, but I'm definitely planning on doing so asap).
On the topic of Genesis 2, I've been going over a penal company idea in my head that would give people an opportunity to introduce characters that normally wouldn't have a reason to fight in the war against the Burning Crusade.
I still need to iron out the details, but what I have in mind is basically a mixed-faction penal company. The idea is that it was established by a couple of officials on either side, as a token gesture of cooperation, in the hopes of personal advancement or otherwise. If anyone is interested, please let me know.
I'd prefer if you contact me personally beforehand though if you're interested in adding a character above the rank of Private/Grunt to start off with, but the focus is really supposed to be on the regular soldiers (who may get promoted to NCO ranks later on anyhow as the unit sees action).
Technically they'll be under the jurisdiction of Nethergarde Keep (and by extension Dalaran, though that's equally much of a technicality given the absence of the city and the fact Stormwind is the keep's main supplier during this Crusade). That's merely to avoid conflict over whose side it belongs to though, as opposed to playing a major role. I'd imagine it may still cause resentment on the part of some of the Horde members of the group however, as Nethergarde comes across as quite Alliance-y despite actually belonging to Dalaran.
Naturally I'll be controlling the commanding officer (a human) and his second in command (an orc), but they're supposed to be more minor characters as they (and the other officers) are unlikely to mingle overly much with the rabble, bar giving orders and maintaining discipline. Being as this is a penal company after all.
The regular soldiers in the company will consist of criminals (including the typical sorts that come to mind - murderers, rapists, thieves), but also fairly average people that were scrounged up by corrupt recruiting officials and given trumped-up/overblown charges. In other words, people whose only crime was to steal a loaf of bread and get labelled as thieves, hedge mages who got labelled as practitioners of dark magic, people who got into a bar fight and got labelled as violent offenders etc.
You get the idea. Basically they're a company destined for dirty-work like clearing explosives, leading the charge in assaults (Forlorn Hope-style), and ultimately, death - or, if they're lucky, having their names cleared of all their crimes (real or falsified) and being promoted. They'll also serve to test out experimental weapons first-hand, on the field of battle, be they effective armaments or unreliable ones.
Although the amount of Hordies in the group will be somewhat in the minority I imagine, they'll have a similar mix (hardened criminals and wrongfully accused, everyday people, together in the same boat). That said, I'm not expecting absolutely every single character on either side to understand their new comrades-in-arms fully right off the bat. In fact, I'd imagine they'll initially try to stick to themselves for the most part and encounter various communication difficulties when they are forced to mix.
You'll have to be patient with me though, posting on my part may be a bit odd and slow at times over the course of the next one to two weeks, but I intend to keep things moving at the very least (and you'll have plenty of opportunity to RP amongst each other, particularly as the men and women of the company get acquainted).
((Other than that, sorry about the ad hoc format of my explanation. I'm currently feeling tired and not really sure how to put this more clearly, outside of when I actually make the posts introducing my characters to the RP. If anything is unclear, feel free to ask - like I said, I'm still ironing out the details))

Yea, I understand. I appreciate the critique; and like you said, I rather have it pointed out than simply continue on with it.

Yeah, I've got it mostly figured out now, just need to type up an intro post and all, since it'll be quite extensive (hopefully) to set the scene.
Also, with M:C, while Marcy did say follow me, feel free to basically nudge her along (post-wise, not literally) if it doesn't look like I'll be on at a respectable time.

A tiny bit of data on Blood-Tempered Ransesur.
The Blood-Tempered Ranseurs are meant to be a balance between the staff Lady Liadrin used as a priestess and the maces she preferred as a warrior.
And a blood knight get the Blood-Tempered Ranesesur once they become a adept (of the blood knight order).
Think you can find it intresting Persen. But you are free to use it as you please. You can ignore it if it interupts what you are doing or use it to polish you works.

This affects nothing in either direction :)

You char has a rank to use IC and can also reflect the balance of a priest and warrior in the weapon. Or shout out what the staff means out loud anime style.

When I wrote it it felt quite obvious that the character was a freshly promoted blood knight adept. Now I'm wondering if I did something wrong.

I could have missed a word or two.
If something was unclear it was that he was freshly promoted but that was in between the lines.
And it was more of the:
The Blood-Tempered Ranseurs are meant to be a balance between the staff Lady Liadrin used as a priestess and the maces she preferred as a warrior. I wanted to highlight. One should know the origin of the weapon he wields.
And I won't dictate how you RP, you wanted to tell you a little data fun on B-TR. As it is one of few weapons that have lore.
And I am a stupid monkey who eats a lot. So that is probably the couse of me not noticing something obvious.

It's easy. Just die repeatedly.
I really have no idea, but I'm interpolating from previously posted posts.
