So in Wanted, are we traveling to Crossroads, or are we still sitting in Ratchet?
Post by
morginar
Crossroads is a horde only town, our party has humans in it.
And yes, we are on the move.

Why is Orzumhd killing people and working with Faust?
Post by
Behelich
Why is
Ohrmuzd
killing people and working with Faust?
Due to always being in varying degree of anger and unable to fully contain his aggressiveness, he finds killing exhilarating (though weaklings, let alone those unable to offer even a token resistance, a lot less so) more than anything else.
He is 'working with Faust' because he does not believe Faust would let him go just like that, and his pride is more than a little bruised after having been defeated so handily. Make no mistake, Ohrmuzd intends to keep his promise and eviscerate Faust. Though he does not fully understand the specifics of Faust's agenda and reasons for giving him the Corpse Eater, Ohrmuzd thinks he can trick Faust into making him (Ohrmuzd) too powerful to handle.

Ilthadris now pulled one arrow from her quiver and placed it into the string. She then pulled the arrow in the string backwards. The metal bow made it harder to pull the arrow back, but she pulled anyways and pulled firther than the previous four, to add more power into this arrow.
Fun fact: You pretty much always draw the bow to the same level, consistent with your strength and height (and other factors) and therefore you need a bow suited to your body. If you grow stronger you need a tougher bow. The draw length and force are quite constant from shot to shot, otherwise you can't aim properly.
As far as I know.

I am not a marksman. I know very little of bows IRL.
Thanks for the insight.

But that's how

Shoot
a bow. Ilthadris is an elf.

Second fact: you only
fire
firearms
. Bows and crossbows are shot, and arrows and bolts are shot (or released). This is very nitpicky, of course, but it can be good to know. As in, no one will
really
care if you write a bow being fired, but it might be noticed :)

I think i have seen the word fire being used in fantasy universes repedietly. On the top of my head.
The ugly orc commander that lay siege to Minas Tirith: Fire at Will!
I kinda think it works to use the word fire, out of hapit of the other ranged wepons.
Think i can find the word fire, and the firearm is bow, used in wow.
As i can find the word devil in this game....
Do we even have a Devil?

In RPG they are a rare type of demon.

Blood Guard Porung yells: Fire!
And he commands
Shattered Hand Archer

A bow is
not
a firearm.
The action 'to fire' comes from the weapon
using
"fire", rather than the designation
firearm
being a result of the action 'to fire'.
Blizzard choosing the wrong words doesn't justify further error.
Also, the Shattered Hand Archers use flaming arrows. He might be commanding them to use fire.

The ugly orc Commander in LOTR tells his archers to 'fire' upon the charging Gondor soldiers and later to 'fire at will' against the arriving Rohirrim.

Well then, the screenwriter, producer, director and the rest of the crew must be infallible.
Because I am not.

Are we honestly arguing about the semantics of words to use when discharging ranged weapons? Let us keep in mind that in Azeroth, gunpowder weapons and the more classical are in frequent and almost interchangeable use, and have been for some time. Not to mention the presence of magic would undoubtedly have some influence as well.
In Azeroth, I think fire may well be used. But that doesn't mean Persen isn't right either.

From Dictionary.com:
Fire: to discharge (as weapons, ammunition, etc.):
