My finals are going kind of well, although its sounds like you're in college, not high school.

What's that steel wings RP about?
The only thing I caught was a Star Wars vibe.
Major point =P

Pretty much this. The whole point is that it's Warcraft.
In space
In Star Wars.
Cabal = Sith
Templar = Jedi
It got a little black and white, so I have a doomguard...

Hey Mosh, with three (four?) other RP's already going on, I think it's going to be very unlikely for people to have motivation to post in your new RP.
I'm kind of burned out right now, which is why I'm not posting much RP wise.

I've been researching the Slender Man, and finding it very interesting. I have yet to check any of the original forums about it yet, but from what I've read so far the character is positively spin-chilling. Disturbing, spooky, and all the more interesting with each bit of information, especially once "police recording" I found on Youtube.
Even though I know he's only fictional I still find myself looking around to make sure nothing watching me (also I'm currently sitting with my back to a wall). heh.

I felt that way when I first started. Have you watched "Marble Hornets?"

Just started. Only seen three atm but they're good. Very good. I find myself looking for the Slenderman in each one of them, rarely seeing any but expecting him to have a center-screen appearence in one of them at any given second. Freaks me out.

/shake head I don't get how anyone can get freaked out by the Slender man.

HE"S F*CKING CREEPY! THAT"S HOW!
First the audio recordings I heard, then the Marble Hornet videos (excellent vids, btw. Not sure if I'll be able to finish watching them all in one day) provide the kind of subtle, creeping horror that sticks with you throughout the day and into the night. It's pitch perfect and stands head and shoulders and roman column above the "classics" such as Freddy, Jason, and Ghost Face's movies.

I've watched Marble Hornets and they bored me heh. But that might be due to the fact that I 'know' Slender Man doesn't exist, since it was created on the internet so yeah.

Oh, I know the same, but I feel that it's all in the presentation of the work. As I said; I'm searching each scene in the MH vids for the slightest glimpses of him, and in the latest vids (18 and 19 specifically) in which the "proxies" have started popping up in the very center of the screne compared to the early 17 vids in which it was all very subtle is an excellent usage of pacing.
But you have to admit they pick a perfect design for him, considering there are supposes cave paintings and egyptian hyroglyphics supposidly depicting the Slender Man (or something like him), at least I belive there are. It's what I've read and I belive I recall seeing one or the other.
And vid and sound on my comp is starting to act up, so I'm off for a bit untill I can get it resolved.

They weren't Morec; they used existing creatures in mythology to build it up into something 'real'.
