And feeling even better as not only is today off, due to Queen's birthday, but I also get Friday off. Well technically I don't get the day off, but I don't have to go to school at least :)
Although, knowing my luck, that'll probably be the last bit of good luck I get for the rest of the year :P

I'm considering opening up another one of those Arena-Style RPs, but a far more open one (think the way that Kombatants were free to walk around and attack each other in the Mortal Kombat tournament at the start of MK9's storymode). Would I have any takers?

The question of player mortality arises. Is it going to be like the coin thing from the other one you made?

I'm thinking so, unless, of course, someone else has a better idea on how to settle the battles or, again of course, if the players themselves decide upon how they think the battle should go themselves for story effect.

Just gonna say, Morec: I didn't like the coin thing....
It was honestly annoying, in my opinion, and I couldn't help but feel that whenever someone lost they were being cheated.
An RP where people have to die like that just seems poor in concept for the way we commonly do things on this board. I've done arena RPs before, and they generally need more strict rules than we have here.
Speciffically, they requiere character sheets, health pools, set damages for certain moves, and a rigid post format, at the least, to work out properly and in a way so everyone is happy.
For the player themselves, it turns into a game of chess, so-to-speak. You generally need to be thinking in the mind-set of turns, and considering how you use your attacks and abilities.

Just in case you didn't Ald, a snaithe is the part of a scythe that you hold on to - as in, it's not the sharp part.
Yes I know I worded that really poorly, but I have no idea how to explain it better.

Well, when something metal is moving at a great velocity against one's skin and flesh, odds are that's gonna leave a mark anyway. A bruise, maybe.

True, I was just pointing it out in case you didn't know. That way I can just say snaith instead scythe-handle-thingy and know you understand what I am referring to :P

Just checking in. Had some problems this weekend, a really long story that ended with me and my buddies getting kicked out of a hotel with my phone still inside. So I haven't been able to post, but I should once I get my phone back (tonight, if everything works out). So, yeah.

That sucks...
I would honestly be pissed if a hotel wouldn't give me something I left inside...

Yeah, definitely. I hadn't even wanted to go to that party (I wanted to do laundry and reorganize my locker), I ended up getting dragged there by a friend.
