Your pitchfork torch is almost out. In the failing light, you can see a LADDER.

>Leave and hang the pendant outside in a visible spot, wait to see if the figure approaches.Feeling a mite creeped out, you climb down the latter and move to the barn doors. Strangely, the door has opened a tiny fraction, and you can see starlight coming through.
You open the doors and step outside, leaving the PENDANT on the ground out in plain sight. You move back a few paces and wait to see if the figure returns.
Soon, you can see her slowly walking from around the other side of the barn. She sees the PENDANT on the ground and stops, looking down at it.

You try to grab her, but she's already gone, and so is the pendant. You fall the the ground, bruising yourself as you hit the earth.
