Oh don't get HSR started on the whole "I'm too good to use an add-on" kick, please.
6 hours and 22 minutes ago, I warned you.

I do not admit taking it out of context because I read the whole thread before replying. At that point, I was still under the impression that you were making a blanket statement.
Or maybe you just didn't read it well enough. You can't just say I'm to blame, and therefore it's true. What I said was clear to me, and therefore I had every right putting it down. I very clearly clarified what was meant nearly half a dozen times, yet here you still are. However you want to word it, the short of it is that you misinterpreted me.
What, specifically did you find lacking that you would suggest Blizz improve on or that you hope to see in Cata?
WotLK bosses as a whole are more about not running with fail raid-members, not about personal min-maxing.
And there I go repeating myself again. You see why I don't trust anyone's reading comprehension, now?

.why would you ever want to play with the default UI?
1) I'm rarely on the same computer twice in a row, more often than not on a friend's. Addons just become a crutch.
2) I have used every bar/ui/raidframe addon under the sun, and found no improvement in my healing, tanking, or dpsing.
3) The game is much more engaging for me, and consequently fun, when I am watching the actual fight as opposed to a little green dot that tells me when I need to recast earth shield.
You lied, because I never once said I was "too good" for addons.

It's the air you put off, HsR. Add-ons are an excellent way to modify the fugly default UI, but you're sure to say how you don't need them even when they're commonly accepted as nearly mandatory or complete fluff to make the game look nicer. It's all good by me; play how you want. You said it yourself that "I'm too good for add-ons" were my words and not yours and I will concur, but I'm guessing most everyone who reads your posts on the subject get that exact meaning from them.

If anyone can actually read everything I've written on the subject, you'd see that I'm actually saying "I play better without addons." How does that in any way contradicts the claims that a) they're "an excellent way to modify the fugly default UI" or b) "they're commonly accepted as nearly mandatory"?
What it does contradict is the claim that everyone (or at the very least, HsR) needs addons to play to their (his) full potential, which is all I've every claimed to be arguing against.
My attitude is one of being pissed off that everyone thinks they know what works for me. I
know
play better without addons, yet if I say as much at least 3 people have to pop up and say "oh no you don't." I know tBC was more challenging for me than WotLK, yet without fail there's there "oh no it wasn't" crowd.
Yes that makes me mad. Does that make me some sort of elitist or whatever it is you're claiming I am?

There will always be contradictory people. Some of them will be devil's advocates, but others just completely fail at reading comp.
This current situation seems to be a combination of connotation over denotation, reading more into than is required, and a little "everyone's experiences are going to be like mine."
I honestly only use unit frames, action bars, and boss timers. The first two purely for cosmetic reasons, and the last because I tend to tunnel vision and the addon's warning helps me a lot. If you can successfully raid without the use of addons, BZ.

As a healer, I just wish the player and party health bars were vertically thicker. Thats the only reason I have to use X-Perl. I also like BaudBag to make one huge bag you open -- individual ones irk me.
That's about it.
Oh and Prat, too! I like hearing a sound when people talk in party and guildchat.

1) Personal attack against my reading comprehension.
2) I asked about the expansion, not the bosses.
If all you do is raid and the bosses are the only part of the game that you encountered, this may have been a valid point. However, you failed to communicate if this was the case.
You ask me what's lacking, and I said xyz, which just so happens to be part of the expansion. If that's not an answer I don't know what is.
And pointing out specific instances where you continue to fail at reading what I've written is not "personal attack," it's telling you that you have no business arguing anything until you start reading.
And lastly I did convey my point the first time.
It was perfectly clear to me.
I meant what I said. Any other interpretation is rightly called a misinterpretation.

general graphics in wow arnt so great , since the game is probably aimed at 'casual' gamers , I guess they just wanted it to be simply like kid friendly?
No, the game came out six years ago. They opted for a cartoon-y feel, which I think works for the game, but the graphics are bad because it's a six year old game. Next you'll be wondering why StarCraft isn't hyper-real...

Partially this...Warcraft always had a sort of cartoony look to it as it is. But again, it's designed that way to make it accessible.
Besides that...Headphonez did you post in the wrong thread or what? This is about the UI, not the graphics.

Seems this got way out of hand - and off topic - and personal arguments. No real reason for it to continue.
