Those screenshots look great.
Btw what is that vanishing powder on the glyph panel?
Also can anyone give me the link in which they explain the glyph overhaul?
I kind of missed that ^^

here there is some
preview
summing it up, they added an intermediate levle of glyphs.
- minor = cosmetic, little useful.
- medium = utility but no direct dps increases (like flet footed is now for example)
- major = direct dps increases, dps cycle changing.
still 1 hour and a half at work, then finally i can see new talent trees. (seems that eu char copy is working today, i've been in queue from saturday -.-)

seems that eu copy is up, re-queued my char hope this afternoon is ready for testing.
Also, all of my AP gems were converted to Agi, however I didn't gain any crit. I'm kind of confused. My crit (from armory) is 55.85%, but I don't remember if it's just a snapshot so may be covering buffs. My crit rate on PTR is only 48ish%. That's probably due to talents like Malice being gone. Looking at the conversions, it's still ~84agi/crit% and ~46crit/crit%.
this beacuse of 2 reasons:
- agi gives now double ap, so they need to nerf the crit provided by agi.
- the crit nerf affects also str users, so agi weapons are many levels below str ones (in live, agi weapons often give more ap and crit even to str users - like for palas, where bloodfall hero is the BiS before shadowmourne).

Items with arpen on it have had that stat changed for other stats, perhaps hit.
If I misunderstood you, then perhaps the hit rating conversion constant has been changed, or you're not accounting for 1% extra hit on precision.
btw, how long did your character copy take?

dinged 10 this morning just before going to work, after a while i decided to choose sub, since it's the only spec i haven't played intensively yet (being combat till TBC end, then switched mutilate apart from some pvp in TBC).
gonna post some screens when i'm home, but new trees are well-known. if my rogue is up for the time, gonna get some recount and try some rotations/specs.

Are there any mastery stats on current icc gear?

Any glyphs orso that give hit?
Or are you sure that you still got exactly 503 hit on ptr aswell?
Werent they also talking abt passive buffs that you could get, eg arp (and perhaps hit)?
Remeber that it scalled with the mastery points and but perhaps there is a base increase of it.
Edit for "Beginner Tooltips" - Mutilate "This ability should entirely replace Sinister Strike when you are able to use it." Kick "Best used to prevent enemies from healing or using high-damage spells." Evasion "Very useful if you find yourself fighting against superior odds, but it is impossible to dodge attacks from behind so beware if you need to flee." They've introduced those tooltips to make it stupid easy for new players to understand abilities. There are others that state things such as "Use this attack before you use others for more damage" or something.
Lol ^^

yay got finally my rogue on ptr.
DISCLAIMER: its ptr. numbers are worse than in beta.
after drooling a little, i've gone to my trainer, and the first test is about
mutilate build
.
no use of vanish (not binded lol) also no backstabbing. glyphs are rupture, vendetta and mutilate.
results
as on the screenshot, rupture is surely worth to use for energy regen, but it does count for only 7% of our damage. poisons are still king of mutilate builds.
tried sublety/backstab build. omagawd it's hell.

Can you do 10 backstabs and 10 mutilates and average out the damage? I'm curious. I know the number pass hasn't been done yet, just simple curiosity out of the inability to log on the PTR myself.
Also, how does assassination's energy generation feel, now that it's tied to rupture?
Post by

if i use bs, dps goes down a lot since it's not at 35% life or less. i assume that at the end of the fights our dps will go up a bit.
using rupture in assassination is not a problem. never got energy problems, the feeling is like playing in live, it's a little better since i need to keep an eye on rupture too.
explaining better sublety after some tries:
- got around 5.5k dps, which is not bat, but compared to mutilate (now im going to combat for further tests) is really behind. anyway i'm playing it very badly.
- combo generation is totally dependant from party. maybe hat is bugged so it doen't proc in solo (didn't keep attention at it) but the general feeling is that i'm missing something.
- rotation is good i think, but both setting it up and mantain it is extermely (read: nerly impossible until stars align) difficult. the problem is not in using recuperate + snd + rup, but add into shadowdance and hemo and it's all really messed up. anyway, im still doubtful about combo/energy regen.
said this, i won't post any numbers till i managed to use it better. gonna log now for some combat runs.

Rup + VW = 10.7% of your damage, thats not bad at all.

analyzing better the results for muti, mastery comes out as a really strong stat.
i have 8 master points (dunno from where, there is no mastery rating on gear), and counting that IP is more than 37% of damage, dp is another 10%, VW another 7% (more than double the damage of rupture lol) and envenom a good 16%, mastery for muti becomes a predominant stat.
good that melee is accounting for 16% only, but i think the need to tweak the IP/DP proc.
