Don't entirely remember the raid comp but each guild I've been in handles it different. The original method was:
* Tank him near the green ooze, when that comes out run over towards the orange ooze, when orange comes out go back to green. Melee waits until the ooze chooses a target (to avoid being next to it) and then stops DPS on boss.
The current guild tanks him exclusively at the orange area, and only moves to let people spread out when the orange ooze comes out. Again, melee DPSes boss until the oozes choose a target, then switches to the ooze.

10m:
We all start on the left-side of the room, close to the wall.
1) Tank pulls and holds PP halfway between the table and the left-back corner.
2) Green ooze spawns in middle, ranged attack ooze and ranged + healers stack on slime target.
3) Ranged + healers go to middle, red ooze spawns on left of room, ranged attack slime and slime target runs away, leading the slime away.
Repeat 2 and 3 until last phase, tank kites PP around the room, DPS burn PP.
OT eats green slime on floor and slows the oozes.

normal mode i assume?
just by skimming the responses... im gonna say do NOT listen to the people saying kite him from orange to green back and forth during p1 and 2
just leave him at green its a lot easier
once green spawns everyone blows it up... if you get knocked back make sure its to the middle....after one ooze you should push it to p2
p2 same thing with green... and when orange spawns ranged start blowing it up immediately.. melee join in once it picks a target
avoid malleable goo
p3: kite him around the outside...pop bloodlust and blow him up
gg
pretty much the only strat...idk what bad groups youre going with that use another one

Folks say this, but I don't think it's as intuitive or easy as having some distance between your party and the green ooze when it spawns. Maybe it's the case if your guild or PuG has demonstrated great situational awareness, but I've found that having more lead time to alert everyone to the green ooze spawning so that they can (a) DPS longer on it before it explodes and (b) stack on its target is easier than trying to do so from the green side.
The only cost to this I can perceive is that you have to remind folks to cross back and forth from one side to the other, and the MT has to kite PP, but that isn't rocket science.
you kind of contradicted yourself here
its a lot less "rocket science" to just stay at green and dps
vs.
switching back and forth

You have a 30% buff, you should be able to down oozes within 10seconds of them coming out if people in your guild are half decent and are able to swap targets.
Strat:
Phase 1: Hit PP till slimes come out, down them, keep killing PP
Phase 2: Repeat method used for phase 1
Phase 3: Pop BL once melee is in range of PP and kite him till he dies.
I'm assuming that you know how to stack on green oozes and run away from the orange if it targets you...

Here's how we do it :
Raid composition
2 tank (warrior, druid), 2 healer (holy paladin, resto druid), 6 DPS (mage, 2 warlock, ret pal, hunter, elemental shaman)
Phase 1 :
I tank the boss under the green ooze spawn, and stay there unless they're ooze under me. All ranged DPS are stack in the middle, and melee DPS is obviously with me DPSing the boss. As soon as green ooze spawn, ranged are already stacked, so I bring PP near ranged so if my ret pally get targeted, the damage is still somewhat split.
When there is an orange ooze (shouldnt really happen in phase one though), everyone is still stacked in the middle, so range just switch to orange as soon as it's targettable. ret pal stay on the boss with me. We make the RDPS targeted (if it's one) run near the boss, so Ret pally can switch DPS. It go down fairly quick, so it's pretty much end of phase one.
Phase 2 :
Pretty much the same as above, but I move out when I have the little orange vial on the ground so it doesn't hit. Ranged are still stacked and the middle, and GTFO of malleable good when they get there.
If we see there's an ooze that's gonna pop really close to the transition, we halt ALL dps on the boss and just wait for the ooze to spawn and burn it down until we get back to the boss
Phase 3 :
The tank bring PP to his alchemy table and start start tanking him there. We pop Heroism / Bloodlust then proceed to take him down. Tank switch every 2 stacks of the debuff, and we only kite him when we need to (read : orange vial or ooze under him).
That's about it, you shouldn't have any problem with the 30% buff if everyone pay attention... especially the malleable goo, it put a heavy strain on the healers.
Edit : Just saw the tactic where the tank actually run to the door, should work well aswell !
