I got kicked out of my very first guild for "Ninjaing" a
Journeymans backpack
out of the guild bank.
Pretty hilarious tho, Guild named Ninjaing took item from guild and get kicked xD
The guild wasn't called "Ninjaing." He got kicked because they said he was "ninjaing." I imagine the quotes were to show that the term was inappropriately used.

I think EhlonnaDS is right, except that technically, the quotation marks would be used to show that Dustey823 was quoting whoever threw her/him out - and as such may not himself agree with the term.

is it me, or is the GM's wife/girlfriend always a terrible gamer? I have met plenty of good female gamers, but it seems that when they become the GM's wife/girlfriend, they instantly lose 150 IQ points. Also, the GM goes insane when you tell her something obvious that she somehow doesn't know, like "mages are not supposed to be in melee range of the boss. I don't care if you want to hit him with your stick, you are supposed to shoot him with spells." I seriously had to tell her that once. the GM kicked me for "making fun of his girlfriend".
note: i am not calling all women stupid. If you are the GMs girlfriend/wife and are not stupid, I wish you were on my server.
Color me crazy, but I've played WoW since the beginning, and I've known quite a few players who act like what you describe, of both genders, regardless of whose significant other they were. You just need to spend about five minutes on /trade to see that. Can't help wondering, though, would you say male players also lose IQ points when becoming a female GM's husband/bf? As from what I'd read on here, folks have voiced the same "unreasonable player" complaint about female GMs and female SOs of male GMs. If only we could be as sensible and mature as the in-game male populace!
That said, I've never been kicked. I was the GM of two guilds back in vanilla, but they were small, quaint guilds comprised of me and my friends, and we all got along well. Don't think I ever kicked anyone, either.

3 members of my guild (including an officer) got kicked for using the ':P' emote. I approve.
That is the pettiest thing I have ever heard about this game, and that is saying a lot..

Long story, mostly about me being persistently patient...
Back in BC I was in a raiding guild that merged with another just before WotLK. All during BC I had been a fire mage, and not to be boasting I was very good at it. Then we started doing Naxx, and instead of getting to raid, the RL Druid Tank (who came from the other guild) decided to keep me benched for the first couple of weeks.
I asked him why I was benched, and he said "Fire is crap, you must copy Player X's spec (which was arcane). Even when player X and me both said that when testing on a dummy I did about 80-85% of his DPS, and he was already wearing Naxx gear, I still had to respec. So I did.
After that he kept me benched, but he wanted to evaluate my DPS, so I had to demonstrate my rotation several times on a dummy, so he could check it out. I told him to stuff it, and got threatened with a /gkick. Luckily my old guildies stood up for me and he had to revoke his threat. Unfortunately I was still benched during naxx raiding hours (sunday, monday, wednesday & thursday 20h00-24h00), as were some other people. Our fortune was that we got DKP worth 50% of those actually raiding when we were benched, so when we would rotate in, we would get gear.
A week or two later, while benched on a sunday night, I needed to go to take an urgent leak, so I slipped away to the bathroom. I couldn't have been AFK for more than a minute (it was a quickie, and the bathroom is just next to my room), and he was flipping out for deserting the raid and not asking for the RL's permission to go on a break (It was in the Guildrules that "No Raider is permitted to go AFK or take a break without it being announced by the RL, or unless the RL gives explicit permission for it."), and when I appologized and said that I was ready if they needed me to step in, I was all up and ready, he said I was still benched, but I was not allowed to leave the keyboard (or even tab out for a sec, despite the fact I was on vent the whole time). He told me he was gonna take away all my DKP for that week, since I was obviously not to be trusted, and threatened me with /gkick. Luckily my old guildmembers (who were in the raid) stood up for me once again.
Then the glorious day came when I was finally allowed to fill in for another DPS that had every BiS item from Naxx10. We start with the Arachnid Quarter and cleared it, but no loot drops for me. We move on to The Plague Quarter and kill everything and behold, Loatheb drops a
Spaulders of the Lost Vanquisher
. I cheer (inside, not out loud in vent, mind you), and get ready to bid my DKP for it, knowing that the rogue and the other mage in the raid already have it, only to see him take it for his DPS spc. I blink in disbelief and ask in vent what is going on, only to be told off, that he needs it for his DPS set and raiders get priority over benched people, and I don't need it because he is more important and I'll only be able to raid when the other DPS can't.
And then the raid fell apart, since my old guildies refused to do anything with him anymore. The guild quickly became somewhat of a warzone with my old guildies on one side, and the RL and his old friends on the other side, up until the point where it dissolved very quickly...
Guess I was an idiot for putting up with that crap, but I wanted to stay with my long time friends :P

I don't have a weird reason.
I regularly accept invites from cesspool guilds on my alts, Then I take whatever I can from the guild banks.
My latest and most successful exploit was stripping a full tab of herbs from a guild.
Oh yeah my alt is called Trollfucius :) and those herbs earned me 1k and it took them a week to kick me.
Thank you cesspool guilds x

Wow bud you get the doormat of the year award. I would have quit the guild after the incident in the first paragraph. I would have also quit in the second paragraph.. and etc.

Ok so I got a gkick but i got to watch this guy get banned for it.
I am playing on my god I can't even remember might have been my dk or druid. I was a big tank and everyone loved me. The whole guild including the GM or so i thought. I never did talk because I had no mic. well i finally get one one day and log in to vent. Now a bit of the backstory is I live in the south. Alabama to be exact so i have a "redneck" accent.
Well i log into vent we get setup for a raid i think it was TOC 25 man and i talk. So the GM asks this... who let the inbred hillbilly into vent and i get kicked from vent. then kicked from guild after the GM posts in GUILD chat that he doesn't play with inbred hillbilly ^&*!s... well i screencap it. like 19 memebers of the guild instantly go ape%^&* on him. He didn't know my alt was in the guild still. I watch as every last one of the best raiders leave the guild.
I put in a ticket about his behavior and wouldn't you know i get a gm that comes from the south :D. So he is about to ban this guy when i ask him if i could get a invite back to his guild and say something to him. So the GM is able to force me into the guild the GM looks and asks me How the HELL did i get back in to which i reply racism is bad.... enjoy your ban.
he tells me he doesn't have to listen to some hillbilly ^&*! because i can't do #$%^... to which the gm replies in Guild chat. and I quote "Nope but I can. /ban"
best Kick/Ban ever

When 85 was the level cap, I was in a guild that didn't allow guild repairs for 85's. The GM said it was because it was so easy to make your own gold for repairs. My LFR repairs proved otherwise.
Anyways, I was kicked along with others for repairing my gear. -_-

Had a fight with my friend offline... she was guild leader, and booted me from the guild.
Worst part is, my bf and I were the biggest contributors to the guild, and I lost all my gear stored there :/
We still don't speak.

Wow.. considering my alt is getting a guild invite every 2 minutes.. maybe I should just stand by a bank and accept those... new items every couple of minutes would be nice. :D
I think you mean stealing new items every couple of minutes would be nice?
Seriously is 1k really worth being an &*!@#$% over?
