Well considering Cho'gall and Garona's comic-stories will be continuing in Cata I wouldn't be surprised if Med'an shows up at some point. Not in Cata, thank heaven.
Third: This was a paragraph about how Med'an is poorly written and shoehorned into the lore of the game as a superhero cowboy with laser beam eyes who craps rainbows and breathes 4 different kinds of magic... but I removed it in deference to anyone who might actually like the stupid kid.Three. And even as a drumorc shamageicator spawn-of-two-lore-characters...he's still better written than (*
shudder
*) Rhonin.
They did (sadly) put Rhonin ingame though, so nothing's impossible. And it took them a while, and they
didn't
end up rubbing him in our faces much.
And again, they're continuing the story of a few other comic characters in Cata.Probably not Maraad, dammit.
Thrall would look amazing if it wasn't for the wrong face, and that hair. Otherwise he looks pretty good updated. His outfit is fine; his face? Not so much.

Thrall doesnt need to look like a badass anymore. He's a glorified doorman now. He just holds back the elements while we're at work within the Maelstrom! Sure, he's basically an elemental atomic bomb. But he's just chillin' and saving the whales/trees/whatnot. Nobody is really trying to kill him anymore. Pretty much everyone is content to let him carry on unmolested because he's helping save everyone's world. Most of the old faction leaders are getting model overhauls that suit their new purpose, and this one suits Thrall's new purpose. Garrosh has to psychotically lead the Horde. He looks like a psychopath now. Vol'jin has to slink around looking shady and prophetic. He looks like a slinky-shady prophet now.
Thrall is an elemental doorman. He looks like an elemental doorman.
'No ones trying to kill him'?
Thats funny, since Thrall told vol'jin someone did try to kill him.
'Doorman'.
right, that was a doorman thing he did to the alliance on the goblin starting zone.
Actully, thinking of it, Garrosh is just a glorified a-typical orc like anything from warhammer, in other words, nothing special.
See, this can be turned on its head too.
(Waits for Adams retort)

No comment; if this thread get's locked, it will be for the necro.
Beyond that, everything is trying to kill everything else, that's just the way of Azeroth.

What happened to the Doomhammer armor? After this model I just assumed it was damaged or taken away from him (he gets ganked and captured after all). Maybe they'll make a new-new model eventually with an improved form of the Doomhammer armor?
As an Earthen Ring member, he doesn't represent the Horde anymore so he had to leave it behind.

Ah... Thank you. So he went to the Earthen Ring to help calm the elements to help "protect" everything/everyone, correct?
The earthern ring representative in nagrand basicly said to him, to give help in healing the world, he had to put aside the warchief. He left doomhammers armor, but not the hammer.
Also, the same representative called him Go'el, despite repeatadly telling her to call him Thrall. It seems Thrall only gave into half of what they said to get done what he needed to, the earthern ring being after all a stuborn group.

So because he left to save the world, he left the armor as... a... icon or memento to remind the horde of the accomplishments they done while he was warchief?
Thanks for answering my questions and explaining this.
He looks good in his new garments.
Actully thats the mystery, no one yet knows where his armor is. Its supposed that maybe its in nagrand, or the earthern ring are holding it, otherwise its where Thrall left it, so he could gain the full trust of the earthern ring.
No so much a momento, since he did promise he'd return to the horde when the world was safe.

I hope he returns when HE believes it's safe, not when the Earthen Ring says so. Otherwise he'll never be back... be pretty epic they did a horde quest line to go "get back our warchief!" where we go assault the Earthen Ring and drag him back.
So he left it somewhere, it sunk to the bottom of the ocean when the ships were crashed if he took it with him, or the Earthen Ring is holding on to it... great!
I really hope he left it in Orgrimmar where it's on some armor stand where we can go "OOOOooooh, AAAAAaaah" at it.
I dount he would. For one reason, we see him with the armor in nagrand, and without it when he returns to azertoh, and also, if he left it in orgrimmar Garrosh wouldn't hesitate to wear it. Its obvious in not giving Garrosh the armor or Doomhammer, Thrall has not given over his mantle in full, only temp.
