From what I've been hearing they have not yet completed the changes to the glyphs yet so right now I wouldn't get too hung up on it.

unholy is maintaining it's simpler style that it currently has on Live. It'll be alittle more difficult then our current rotations, but it'll be alot easier then Frost.

sweet, i am both and i will say outloud i hate frost, it just dont work for me (same token i have a BM raid spec hunter, so i can get most everything to work) another question, what is the new blood tree like to tank with

blood has it's issues. The only thing that is looking good about blood is DS and Blood shield. I'll just say for now that it needs some polish. Rune Strike needs to not work off avoidance. Since it's now on the GCD you have to hit RS the moment you see it proc. Threat doesn't seem too much of an issue except for RS procs. AoE rotation is very awkward and needs smoothing out. Your runes take a long time to CD and because it's hard to use RS, you don't get much RE procs compared to the other 2 specs. You have alot of Def CDs to use throughout the instance or boss encounters. Unfortunately some take runes and when you need to use the CD you don't have a rune, or you feel like your sacrificing threat for survivability.
I'm waiting to see if they make any changes to blood before i write up a new blood game play section.

For the unholy tree, drop RP Mastery and put those points in Magic Suppression. AMS won't generate runic power from baseline anymore, so you need at least one point in there for our mechanics cheezing.I also put my spare tier 2 point in Desecration, but that's just more my own preference. I figure in pve content you'd get more use out of being able to slow mobs, but meh.. Your mileage may vary.
For the frost tree.. meh.. I'm still not sure personally not liking having to skip epidemic, but that's about the best tree I could come up with too.
The blood tree i'm really not qualified to comment on. It looks good, but idk. Depends on if bloodworms are worth anything or not.

i'd keep atleast 1 pt into RP mastery. with runic corruption your DC cost 34rp. Which means with 1pt into RP mastery you can bank 3xDC's. Even though AMS doesn't generate RP baseline. The talent doesn't necessarily increase RP generation based on how many pts you put into the talent either. Until it's confirmed that putting more pts generates more RP. 1pt will be enough for me.
For Frost i'd take that 1pt out of endless winter and virulence and put it into epidemic. 2pts is better then 0pts. Unless, spellhit proves to be an issue for Frost.
as for your blood spec. no points into SoB? bad idea. i'd have 1-2 pts based on how much RS's i do and i've heard good things about Blood Parasite. Worth the points if you can spare them.
Virulence could be worth getting in cata for blood. Keep your taunt from missing.
With the shortened disease times, epidemic is looking pretty good again. And for aoe tanking morbidity is going to be mandatory.
if you knew for sure that someone was bringing the 10% AP buff then you could take 2pts out of aboms might. Alot of the beta tanks aren't using BcB, since it's a single target talent and probably not worth 3pts.

IDK how much of a confirmation it is, but the tooltip for 2 points in Magic Suppression reads as follows:
Increases the spell damage absorption of your Anti-Magic Shell by an additional 16% increases the runic power generated when damage is absorbed by Anti-Magic Shell
Whereas only one point says:
<snip>...causes damage absorbed by Anti-Magic Shell to energize the death knight with runic power
I'll grant you that i'm not in the beta and haven't tested it in any way, shape, or form, so I can't vouch for how it *actually* works, but tooltip wording makes it sound like it *should* give you more RP the more points you sink into the talent.

If it turns out that 2pts does generate more rp then 1pt. then it may have some value. It would have to be a considerable amount more to be worth it though. Atm i'd rather have the extra storage space for my RP so i can dump more DC's.

The ability to not be crit
. Improved Blood Presence is mandatory now, and you just can't tank without it, end of story.
Also, no hand of doom? after tanking with a class on live that has no reliable silence, not taking a CD reduction on your silence makes my head explode. No Blood-caked blade? I bet that's going to be better for threat generation than you'd think.
The glyphs aren't too bad... the only one i might disagree with is the Blood Boil major glyph. Personally i'd replace that with the Vampiric Blood major glyph.. Seems to me that a larger radius on an aoe spell would cause issues with CC'ed mobs and the VB glyph would help your survivability with those OH S*** moments.

You don't have the points for Hand of Doom atm, Blood is too bloated. On the other hand Runic power Mastery is.... laughable. Bloodworms, Imp. Blood presence are all Mandatory. Bone Shield sucks, its the first thing we want to drop.
Grats you did better on the Glyphs, just about right.
We don't have the points for BCB atm, need to drop Abom's Might, Scarlet Fever or Crimson Scourge just to maximize Morbidity and BCB only provides a minor Threat increase which we won't really need once the Rune Strike change comes in.
3/3 SoB is most definitely overkill. 2/3 Refreshes often enough.
okay i'll admit i don't know much about the tanking build, but i had to say something when he didn't take IBP. =\ Made me a sad panda.
