Character: Dag'rema
Location: Silithus
"Mmm, indeed," Dag'rema replied. "A pure soul would be best. For that reason I doubt Gadgetzan would make a good target. But perhaps another settlement might be acceptable."
Character: Gurka
Location: Silvermoon
Gurka quietly waited for a response. Finally, she opened her eyes and gasped. Before her there sat another orc between herself and Ga'Crane, almost identical to herself. For a moment she wondered if she was looking in a mirror.
"Erm... hello?" she greeted meekly.
"
Greetings,
" the other orc smiled. "
I am Kitanga.
"
"You are Dag'rema's sister?" Gurka asked hesitantly, wanting to confirm that she was speaking to the right spirit.
"
Unfortunately,
" the apparition sighed. "
But her fall into madness was partly my own fault. I could have saved her, had I acted sooner. But I was stubborn and naïve. And once it was too late to save her, I hesitated to kill her until it was beyond my power to do. And so you have inherited my burden, and I am sorry for that,
" the spirit frowned, staring at the younger orc's scars.
"That's, err, okay..." Gurka answered.

Ga'Crane sniffed the air suspiciously, trying to sense if any other spirits - more malevolent than Kitanga - tried to sneak in. He decided that so far, Gurka was best be left to do the talking, and he hoped she would remember his question about ways to send Dag'rema into suicidal rage.

Gurka suddenly remembered that Ga'Crane was in the room, and decided to relay what she'd found out so far.
"Nothing much so far," she commented. "Her name's Kitanga, and she tried to kill Dag'rema. And, uh, failed, I guess."
The spectral Kitanga looked down. "
The Dag'rema that you see today is not as youthful as she appears. In our last battle, I destroyed her face and took her eye. Since then, she has been turned by the Worgen and become undead. Her most recent form is new flesh granted to her by the Fel. She is very difficult to destroy.
"
Gurka nodded. "She says that Dag'rema is very hard to destroy," she commented. "Apparently she was even undead at one point."
"
The next time she perishes, you must destroy the head and annihilate her soul. In fact, I would not be surprised if she has planned for her demise, and prepared some way to restore herself,
" Kitanga went on.
"She's warning that Dag'rema may have a way to come back after we kill her, but she doesn't know what," Gurka relayed.

"Soul jar of some sort?" Ga'Crane suggested, taking out the Compendium and looking through it. "As in, we drag 'er soul into a container of some sort and den destroy it alon' with 'er essence?"

Location: Silvermoon
"That might work," Gurka replied, turning her attention back to the spirit before her. "Erm, if you don't mind my asking... umm, how are you connected to me?"
Kitanga chuckled quietly. "
Imagine the stone. As the earth shifts, the stone may be moved, change shape, identities. It is melted down and remade in the belly of the earth. It is at the same time different and the same. It is still the stone that it was, but it is also a new stone,
" she paused, hoping Gurka understood. "
You and I are like the stone. You are me, but you are also you. You are my essence, and my destiny flows through you, but you are not me. Rather, you are as I might have been, born into your circumstances. The spirits chose to give me another chance to right my wrongs, to end my sister, and for that task you were born. I see everything you see, I feel everything you feel, and my thoughts are yours. We are one, but also two.
"
"I... it's hard to understand..." Gurka answered, shaking her head, not sure wat to think of this. It was good to learn, but at the same time, it was intimidating, to learn that she had inherited such a huge responsibility, and it was uncomfortable, to imagine that someone else was living inside her body, hearing her thoughts.
"
You will understand in time. That is why you have had the gift from birth, rather than having an epiphany, as I did,
" she paused, smiling. "
Know that it was not mere coincidence, your meeting Nightbane in that Tavern. Your destiny is to conquer Dag'rema, though my foresight does not show me how.

"In that case the tauren and night elves of Feralas will be prime specimens," Curho said with a bow. "I can leave to harvest them immediately, with your permission milady." Lak'tuk's eyes lit up as she sensed something and began to focus in on the strange-feeling magic. It seemed to be what she was looking for.

"I... think... so?" Gurka answered. "I think she's saying that we're both the same essential person, but we were born in diffferent circumstances and raised differently, if that makes any sense," she added, shaking her head. "It doesn't make much to me. But apparently she's aware of everything I experience. That's kinda creepy."

Ga'Crane frowned - being constantly observed was not exactly a nice thing in his opinion.
"Well, we all say dat our ancestors watch over us, now we just know it for sure, eh?" he ventured, trying to comfort the shamanka.

"I think I've found something!" Lak'tuk said before her father could reply. "But I'll have to stay here to explore it further. It is powerful, but I think I can dispell it - if that is nessescary."
Curho nodded. "It would seem not," he said with a slight chuckle. "I will leave immediately and return as soon as possible, milady." He headed back off for their camp, Yanayaku - who had been encircling the camp above this entire time - flew down to meet her master.

Flamehowl knocked on the door, and Fundaen answered. "Elf!" he said. "And... Forsaken? Blood hell? Whatever, come in." He waved them inside. "I just got a random shipment of metal from Star-Pelt's ethereal aid. I assume you need me to forge them?"
Flamehowl nodded. "Indeed. We need you to forge them into weapons for Gurka."

Khaz neared the tent city. "Hail, Dag'rema!" he called. "I come in peace, for you anyways!"

"Mmm? And you might be?" Dag'rema asked, sensing a formidable power right below the surface of the unassuming dwarf that was greeting her.
Character: Gurka
Location: Silvermoon
"I never really thought about that," Gurka answered the troll, looking uncomfortable. "I always figured it was metaphorical."
"
Don't worry, Gurka,
" Kitanga answered. "
The part of our spirit that represents me is only returned to its former shape when you choose to meet with me. At all other times, I lie dormant in your subconscious.
"
"But you still experience everything I experience, right?" Gurka asked, trying to wrap her head around the concept. "And you only become aware of it when I bring you forward into my consciousness?"
"
Yes, I suppose that is an accurate statement,
" Kitanga replied. "
But remember, we are the same. I don't think you ever need fear my judgment.
"
"Mmmm, I guess you're right," Gurka answered, still uncomfortable.

"Of course not. I am the spawn of N'Zoth, the Drowned God. My essence was injected into the dwarf, and I slowly took him over from within. I merely use this form out of familiarity," he replied matter-of-factly. "I have made many modifications to this form."

Dag'rema chuckled, thinking of her own goals. "Well, we certainly shall bring death, destruction, and pain," she nodded. "You are welcome to join us. We shall be setting off relatively soon, once Curho returned with a pure soul to catalyze my new weapon."
Character: Gurka
Location: Silvermoon
"Your right..." Gurka agreed. "I don't know, just kind of a weird feeling..." she shrugged. "Oh! Kitanga, Ga'Crane had a question for you. He wanted to know if it would be a good idea to try to engrage Dag'rema, and if so, how?"
"
Mmm... Yes, I remember that now...
" Kitanga replied, thinking. "
Hmmm... That could work, I suppose,
" she answered. "
But, you are playing with Fire with that plan. Dag'rema is no fool, and she is very powerful. Drawing her anger could cause her to focus on you with everything she has...
"
Gurka nodded, listening carefully. "And if we were to try that, what should we do?"
"
Dag'rema is not easily agitated, but she has a weak spot for her family. She hated our mother and myself with blind fury I have never seen,
" Kitanga answered. "
You could surely draw her attention that way.
"
"Okay," Gurka affirmed. "She says that her mother and her sister are her hot buttons, but that it's a dangerous plan," she told Ga'Crane. "Alright, I think that's it..." she added, looking over at Kitanga.
"
Farewell. Know that my strength is yours,
" Kitanga finished as Gurka snuffed out the incense and stood up.
"Well, that was... interesting..." she shrugged.
