Alnerigo "Flamehowl"
Netherstorm
"You were in the way of what? You never hurt her, you were the only reason she lived! She loved you with all her heart and soul!" he urged.

"Sounds good," Snowmane answered, taking a moment to think. "You know, I've been wondering... You know Dag'rema better than anyone I know, except maybe Flamehowl... do you have any idea why she took Gurka? I mean, that seems a bit random..."

"Perhaps she's finally slipped off the deep end?" Snowmane shrugged. "If that's the case, we can't count on her doing the rational thing."

Alnerigo "Flamehowl"
Netherstorm
Flamehowl snarled and cuffed NIghtbane over the head. "Never. Let. Me. Hear. You. Say. That. Again," he said, punctuating each word. "Only that filthy warlock, who even now tries to manipulate you, did that. Be strong as you once were!"

"Mmm..." Snowmane murmured in response. "I think Nagrand is probably the best choice."

Vashadya, Lektraza, Frostwing
Kirin'Var Village
Vashadya made her way over to Gurka, since the banishing of the infernal had caused her to tumble roughly onto the ground. The priestess remember a spell she had been taught now, and rather than having to carry Gurka as well as Aldos bearing the burden of their combined weight she simply cast a spell on them, making the two essentially as light as feathers. The priestess picked up Gurka and carried her as well now, catching sight of the others she also picked up her pace.
Lektraza scowled, "tiny? Better than being a big fat clumsy orc," she said, exchanging insults. "Why don't you get some rest, all this fighting must be tiring you out, or did your parents not let you do that." The gnome recalled that Dag'rema had not gotten on well with her family, at least that was what the story told, so if you could use that to turn the warlock's fury on her for the time being it would allow the others to get to safety.

Netherstorm
((that was the point))
Flamehowl mostly dodged the blow, but sustained a small cut to his arm. "Come on," he taunted. "Is that all you can do?"

"If I recall correctly--and please, correct me if I'm wrong--but she not only has the powers of flight, but can create portals at will, can she not?" Snowmane asked. "I doubt she was walking out of necessity."
Character: Gurka, Dag'rema
Location: Netherstorm
Dag'rema scowled, choosing to refuse the bait. "I only wish I had time to make you suffer, little one," she growled, punting the gnome back with a solid hoof. "But unfortunately, my sister needs me, and I must attend to her. So I shall make this quick," she snarled, placing a curse of tongues on the smaller warlock.
Gurka had let out a cry of pain when she hit the ground, but did her best to stay calm as Vashadya carried her away. It was apparent that they were on a battlefield, after all.

Alnerigo "Flamehowl"
Netherstorm
Flamehowl scurried backwards away from Nightbane. "Crap," he muttered. "Looks like you do have some fight left in you after all. All the worse for me." He quickly scrabbled back out of the burrow.

"Oh no you don't," he said, grabbing her by the scruff of her neck and hauling her out. "I didn't go through all that so you could go back inside."

'
Out of all adventurers to come here it must be a warlock with enough brains not to answer to some creepy old man...
'
Nathaniel smiled, turning his fake shackles to dust. He methodically searched the cells before finding something that caught his interest.
"Now what do we have here..." he muttered, picking up an oblong purple gem.
...
"Excuse me..."
A battered old man with almost a quarter of his teeth missing slowly walked up to Vashadya and Gurka. The stench of shadow coming from his was so obvious it almost could be seen.
"Your break in saved me..." Nathaniel said, coughing, and held out the soul shard, "And I could not leave without thanking you."

Flamehowl carried Nightbane into the portal to Star-Pelt's sanctum, and dropped her off. "Got her," he told them.

Vashadya, Lektraza, Frostwing
Kirin'Var Village
"Err, is that a soul shard?" Vashadya asked, vaguely recognizing the object. Normally she was not suspicious, but then again you weren't normally approached by shadowy old men carrying around other people's souls in their pockets. Right now she wished that either Aldos was awake, or Gurka was in a good condition, that way she would not be on her own. Though she was slightly reassured that the others were nearby, even if they were probably busy fighting.
Lektraza swore at Dag'rema, the words coming out with incredible slowness, but menacing nevertheless, before hurling her staff at Dag'rema. The staff arced towards the warlock, striking her heavily across the cheek before spinning back towards it's master's outstretched hand. It's master meanwhile, was fumbling around in her pockets for a soul shard or a similar object that would help her dispel the curse. Pain generally made the process easier, but the only pain she would feel if the other warlock got to her would probably be the pain of her demise.
