Alnerigo "Flamehowl"
/Antharios Sunflame/
Fundaen Orebeard
Location: Ogrimmar
Flamehowl took a pen from his robes, a pot of ink, and some sand, and started writing.
Dead Adalis,
Of course your letters do not tax me. I have been caught up in recent events however, such as Star-Pelt losing his business. As for Nightbane, she is fine. In fact, I'd say this is the most peaceful and happy that I have seen her in a long time. She is happy with her pups and living in the Terrokar Forest of Outland. We had a wonderful conversation in which she never attempted to attack me once, which is a personal best for her.
Regards,
Alnerigo
Sprinkling sand on the ink to make it dry faster, he rolled up the letter and tied it to the owl, sending it back.

Phillip, ?
Grizzly Hills
Phillip nodded. "Tell me about it." He said, turning to the worgen. "Hey, bud. You all right?" He asked, reaching out to nudge the humanoid.
A feral roar was let loose and an all too familiar situation occured to Phillip. The massive claw shooting upwards was nearly unavoidable; shattering his skull almost instantly. "Always with the worgen..." The lich managed to say before his remaning body fell; the icy mist making its way to Snowmane.
The large worgen stood, walking to Snowmane and sniffing her.
"Long way from hom, Gilnean..."
it growled.

You know what? Walk up to him, I'll take it from there.

'
What? How?
'
'
Have confidence in me, my boy.
'
Ga'Crane rolled his neck, and scurried over to Star-Pelt. He dropped his voice to a whisper, but it still sounded not quite like him when he spoke, "
Hello, Star-Pelt.

Flamehowl took the letter from the owl, spread it out on the table, and read. Picking up his pen, he started back.
Dear Adalis,
You must forgive me if I ramble. I don't often speak of myself, so I might be a little rusty. You may be quite angry to hear this, but I was born a high elf, and eventually turned into a blood elf. I was drawn into magical addiction, which I have since tempered over time (I theorize that it comes from the harmony with nature that comes from my worgen form).
I was a mercenary, working with both the Alliance and the Horde, although never against the two superpowers, but only against mutual threats. Eventually, almost fifteen years ago, I was contracted to help guard the keep of Stromgarde. There, Dag'rema and her assistant, a worgen known as Blackbite, came upon the keep and attacked, apparently for souls to forge the damnable Scythe. There, I was bitten and transformed into a worgen.
It was also there that I met Star-Pelt, and the pup that would grow to become Nightbane.
Eventually, Blackbite broke free of the dark spell over herself. Star-Pelt, myself and Blackbite all defected against Dag'rema, but she was too powerful to slay. Blackbite, consumed by addiction, took in too much dark magic, killing herself.
I was shocked by somebody I had known so well commit an act so totally out of character, and it scared me. I fled from all my friends, including the dwarf Fundaen Orebeard, who thought I had attacked his family (I hadn't, and it was cleared up, but that's a story for another time.)
I discovered that Nightbane was staying in Darnassus, and wanted to see the pup I had known, and what she was now. I journeyed to Darnassus, but she took a dislike to me, not recognizing me and smelling shadow. She attacked, and I fled. I was later recruited by the others I have come to know to create a portal and take them to Darkshore, I believe it was.
Since then, your probably know the rest. We tracked down Dag'rema, and through the glory of the Goddess, the Light and Shadow, we prevailed, and she is dead.
However, on a separate note, I feel strange myself. I find myself becoming more and more feral, and it scares me. I do not know why I feel a sudden urge to hunt, and to find Goldrinn, nor do I know why I find a sudden aversion to the Shadow. Perhaps you can help me?
Sincerely,
Alnerigo

Dear Adalis,
Not at the moment. In fact, we're just in an inn at the moment. Is there something I can do for you?
He sent the letter off and waited.

Flamehowl stood up and wove a portal in between Orgrimmar and Darnassus, then stepped through. He walked a short distance, and found Adalis. "My lady," he said with a deep, formal bow. "It is good to see you again."

"How have you been?" Flamehowl asked, concerned, and approached her from the formal distance he was at before. "You look very tired."

Ga'Crane rubbed the back of his neck, and kicked his master out of his head.
"Ah think what 'e's tryin' to say is dat joo two need to talk - provided joo get over joor completely rational loathin' of 'im," he said meekly, avoiding to look at his friend now.

"Of course," Flamehowl said, sitting down on one of the marble benches. "Lately, I've been... restless, for lack of a better word. I've been having dreams of the hunt, something that hasn't happened since I was first turned."
He sighed and shook his head, then continued. "I feel what I believe to be Goldrinn speaking in my dreams, urging me to come to him, but I'm afraid. I'm afraid that if he feels the Shadow on me, and the magic fire I call forth, he may disown me, leaving me a lost wolf, for forever." He shuddered. "It's a chilling thought, and not one I like to think about."

Snowmane growled in return, angered by the worgen's treatment of Phillip. She knew he'd reform, but still...
"Back off," she snarled. "I'm here on my own business. Leave me be and I won't have to hurt you."
Character: Gurka
Location: Orgrimmar
Gurka watched Ga'Crane talk to Star-Pelt. He seemed to be acting somewhat strange.
She spotted Vashadya out of the corner of her eye and made her way over. "Hey, Ga'Crane and I--in addition to Flamehowl and Starlight--are going on a new mission. Are you familiar with the Shatterspear Massacre?"

"But, it feels so
wrong
," Flamehowl said. "I know I will be able to survive, even thrive, on my own, but without his blessing, I feel... afraid. For the first time in many years."
He let out a sigh. "However, your words are true. I will track him down, before we leave. We are tracking down a rogue agent, somebody who massacred several hundred Shatterspear trolls." He turned an eye on her. "Do you wish to join us?"

Voracity
The death knight was sitting on his throne, a strange object hanging on his neck - somewhat longer than his forearm, it looked like a slumbering snake, looping its tail to form a ring just wide enough to fit Nagorm's hand. Two lesser snakes were wrapped around the large one, their jaws closed on the latter's neck. The artifact seemed to be made not of metal or wood, but of a coral-like material Ga'Crane has never before seen in his life.
"I see you're looking at Ur'agahn," Nagorm smiled lightly, standing up. "Afraid you're not ready to wield it just yet.
Welcome, my young friends. Welcome to the
Voracity
."
Ga'Crane twitched, closing the portal before Gurka had any chance to see his teacher.
"I'm really, really disappointed in you, Star-Pelt," Nagorm said.
