Oh okay. It's important that those don't get used when the text inside them isn't something that's actually been said officially by a Blizzard representative so it's understandable that it's something that does really need to be restricted. If they get used in a guide a mod/admin will check the quote before approving the guide.

That makes sense. I came to similar conclusions when I realized the code wasn't working for me.

Asakawa, how do we make tables like yours. How they have the black background and the cells highlight when you mouseover them? For the life of me, I cannot figure it out. All my tables look like a standard ugly table, lol.
Also, is it possible to add images in cells? As far as I can tell, the standard img tag doesn't work with Wowhead's tables.

Hey,
A question.
If I embed an image and have float=left, then text of the section appears on the right.
How do I make some of the text deliberately not appear on the right of the image, but start underneath the image?
That is, I have a block of text:
text text text text
text1 text1 text1 text1
text2 text2 text2 text2
and I want text and text1 to the right of the image, but I want to start text2 at the bottom of the image.
EDIT: OK, I think I've figured it out. I put in a line break (br) and that seemed to do the trick.
Cheers.

@lankybrit, There may be a more elegant solution but I would do it with a table as it gives you the easy ability to vertically align the following text as you wish.
text text text
text text text
text text text
text text text
@dori, find the page on Wowhead. take the number at the end of the URL (that's the item/spell ID) and use it by clicking the "links" dropdown at the top of the edit box.

im still confused D:
Go like this:
Bring up the item
Look at it's url (for example)
Solid Stormjewel
Take those last digits and copypaste them (or memorize)
Select the button that says "Links" with a down arrow to the right. This will drop a menu down.
Select "items"
Type in those numbers in the box that appears
Profit
Example:
Solid Stormjewel

All i want to do is Copy the Gem to show up with the Icon and if you click it it says the Stats.. u know but when i copy it it only shows hes name.. like this Solid Stormjewel and i want to copy the Gem Icon and the stats..
If you do the steps that I outlined, it should show the icon next to it. Then, if you mouseover the item, it will show the stats.

Thanks asakawa.
I'll stick with line breaks right now because that does the job for me, but I agree that a table is more maintainable for the long term. So, if I find myself editing those areas of the guide a lot, I may convert to a table.
Cheers.

Well, the trouble with \s is that you can make it look lovely on your own screen but it might look odd for someone else. If their resolution is different or their default text size, browser or OS then their page will look different. The problem being that images have a set size in pixels while the height of a line of text is variable.

Are you talking about using it within a guide?
s are only available to most users within the guide system and not in the forum or comments.
If you're having problems with this within a guide you're writing then perhaps you could link it (other users won't be able to view it until it's published so don't worry about posting a link to an uncompleted work) so I can see what you're struggling with.

The ID is in the youtube URL.
So with the URL "ht
tp://ww
w.youtube.com/watch?v=
-ebeCWVEoW4
"
The ID is everything after "v="
Giving you:
Click for example
You can change height and width just like with images.
I would say, though, that youtube videos must be particularly relevant to your guide and they should be used to enhance the content that is there rather than replace written content. It is best if you use videos you've made yourself but you
could
use someone else's content as long as they are properly credited for their work.

Hmm, is there a way to use a toggler inside a table? >.>
I tried using this:
Header
info
But something's going wrong with it. :(
I've used another toggler (not in a table, lol) and that was basically what I copy/pasted and adapted for the table!toggler.
info
The latter works fine, but I'm trying to work out what I'm doing wrong with the former.

The two IDs need to match.
One tells the other what to look for.

Oh, I see what went wrong now, lol. Thanks for pointing that out. :)

help me, please. I successfully use togglers in
my guide
, but when i try to add them in comments or my profile the togglers are shown as a simple text though i've seen them working at comments and profiles of other users. Why so?
for example:
Gorilla
Using
Super Simian Sphere
transforms you into a gorilla. It is a world drop from WotLK raids, high instances, Storm Peaks, or Icecrown. The trinket has a 5 minute effect and a 1 hour cooldown.
