Oh what I wouldn't give to hear you on vent. I can see that british accent SCREAMING from your typed words. Gawd...get on my vent please. Oh and to the topic at hand. Girls don't play WoW. End of story.

And just because
you
don't see the sexism in this community, does not mean that it doesn't exist,
There's sexism, but it's so small it's pointless to make a thread and cry about it. The same people who are sexist 'tords women in-game are the same people who would troll the internet and insult anyone and everyone for no reason.
I've been doing this whole thing for a while. I can tell you that my three friends who are girls and play World of Warcraft 2004 / 2005, out of their FIVE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE have not encountered sexism, but instead, being whisper-spammed and been mailed gifts.
Women make friends REAL fast. Especially in Warcraft. You want me to bring them on here, or should I let you get more experience yourself?
You are co-opting your women friends' experiences and using them as an argument against women who agree with the post, belittling OTHER women experiences. Can't you see how that is wrong? And I have a great guild, with plenty of women in it, so yes, I have had positive experiences in WoW, and I have had many experiences. Way to be condescending there. But there are many women who do not have positive experience because of the environment. It's not because of their lack of "experience" that they meet sexism. It's because it's an actual problem in the community.

Here's my two cents, from my feminine perspective...
It goes two ways in my opinion.
Yes, there are a LOT of guys on WoW who obviously have no social skills irl , and who think their jack ass-ery makes them more 'epic' in the eyes of the gal player or their buddies.
BUT ... There are a LOT of gals (or maybe it's just my server) who flirt and otherwise their way into raids , gear, loot and stuff without any discernible skill other then shaking their pixilated behinds for desperately horny/ lonely dudes. They give us normal gal players who actually play well and try to contribute a bad name. Which is why a good many of us female players prefer to be anonymous unless we are in a raid on vent and our cover is blown. lol

Im not a boy, not yet a woman! Ok that made no sense. Does it seem fair that I love asian accents more than british ones?

As much as people joke about "Girls don't play WoW" of course we know they do. From my personal view, I wish they didn't.
Again, from my personal experience, the vast majority of female players have been absolutely rubbish. And in another subset of all female players, the vast majority of them are either super catty ^&*!@es or attention %^&*!s. (I'm going to assume that "female dog" and "lady of the night" has been censored from the previous sentence).
There would be a very very very tiny subset of female players that are both good players and not catty $%^&* attention ^&*!@s.
Again, from my personal experience. I have yet to be impressed by a female player. More often than not it's "Hehe I'm a girl, look at me look at me, I'm a girl playing a game dominated by men, give me a lot of attention because I'm a girl." And it's tiresome.
So you know what? I'd be perfectly happy if no women played this game at all.

Personally, I've seen more sexism come out of women than I have from men...just like I have seen more racism come out of non-white people than white people. How funny is that?
