I have yet to see any evidence that the reason there has been so little "draenei love" is because Blizzard listened to those complaining about the draenei retcon.

No mention of the Draenei.... at all, in Wrath, beyond one quest chain in the Tundra?

We still have a confirmation of why they seem to have forgotten about the Draeneis. It can be because of all the complaints. But it can be something else.

Possibly the Draenei are content with what territories they have? I mean they just came from a world torn asunder and now they have things at least better than before. If it's not broke, don't fix it.

Yeah but from the sound of it, Forest Song which was starting to be set up in the end of Vanilla/start of BC, is still just an encampment, and hasn't been turned into a full village/outpost what have you... you'd think they would do something with that.
They could also possibly add in a phased area to Bloodmyst, showing it starting to repair as you do quests there and cleanse the taint, and even set up the same for the Ghostlands.

No mention of the Draenei.... at all, in Wrath, beyond one quest chain in the Tundra?Yes? But how is that directly linked with those complaining about the draenei retcon? It's a spurious link. It reminds me of the Flying Spaghetti Monster chart that shows a link between the decline of pirates and the rise of global warming.

Because that vocal minority !@#$%ed and complained about the Draenei race from the moment BC beta came out, which seemed to make Blizzard reconsider using them in anything new; like I said, the fact that out of all the new stuff for Wrath, the Draenei get one quest line in a starting zone, leaving several hundred other quests dealing with the other races; I mean, look at the Gnome city in the same zone: between the stuff with magnataur and the reveal about the Mechanognomes, they got a crap ton of things.

Don't respond to GSS2L Zurizen, it's not worth it.grudge post much
?
Nope. Sure I don't like you, but don't hold a grudge against you, seeing as I've seen the way you post, and there's no point in responding to those.

Fine, then let it drop here; I won't respond to your posts, you don't respond to mine, and we'll both be happy, and both escape any flame wars or bans from the mods alright?

Baiting for a ban, are we? Tone down the troll-posts, and keep on topic, thanks.

i dont see what Ive done that would warrant a ban
Alright, since you asked - it might not be easy for you to see in this thread, but your posting history has gotten a lot of reports regarding your, very oftenly used, troll'ish way of not contributing to a topic. Posts like
this
and
this
for instance, on top of your posts since you joined this very thread.
There's a lot of
forum rules
being broken, in just those posts. I'll leave it to you to figure out which and how many it is. If you can't see it, and - more importantly - don't do anything about it, and continue the way you do now, then I'm quite certain the ban (temporal or not), might be coming sooner than later.
Now, once again, let's get back on topic, shall we?

The Draenei were done right for BC, it's the fact that because of a vocal minority, they've been pushed aside. I like the race, and find it interesting, but they need more information then just a pair of stories, and the 1-30 areas on Kalimdor.Indeed.
Edit: The only thing about the Draenei retcon I don't like, was the fact that it's now completely on the shoulders of the Dreadlords for corrupting Sargeras, where it used to be the Eredar and the Dreads... but seeing as the Dreadlords are the ultimate %^&*s of the universe, I guess that's to be expected.I thought the implication was that the presence of the dreadlords caused Sargeras to see the universe as inherently flawed and unfixable, which in turn caused him to slide into "omnicidal maniac" territory.
I hope lolotea got into the beta,or someone who will raise a stink about this. Not as yet, anyway. (Sheesh, I got into the SCII one without even trying...)
God if she did... it will turn into a Draenei expansion.
Trust me.You know there
are
other races that I like...
right
?
People that just complain are making themselves sound stupid and even them aren't ignored. Blizzard seems to take everything they can into consideration before taking a step. There have never been that many people raging about draenei. They're just very loud and very rabid.
There
have
been quite a few people speaking out against the "rug-sweeping." And yet, it's still happening.
Which is sad, as the Draenei and Blood Elf haters seem to be the most vocal to Blizzard, so those two get next to nothing beyond a few tidbits here and there.Blood elves got an entire faction in Wrath, and are getting a new class in Cataclysm (even if it is just warrior). I'd say that they're giving the blood elf hate only
slightly
more credit than it deserves.
There's still draenei and blood elf hate out there? Because all I've seen in the past year was people citing the Draenei Lore Twist and the ''gay jokes'' of the Blood Elves. Nothing major. There's some kid on the Awful Forums who's been raging nonstop about how draenei are "lame" and "wussy," how they "ruined the lore," and about how anyone who plays one is an idiot whom Blizzard shouldn't treat as a valued customer. He's been at it for years now; despite the fact that people are getting banned over the most
innocuous
things lately, the CMs have left this guy alone. Draw your own conclusions.
I have yet to see any evidence that the reason there has been so little "draenei love" is because Blizzard listened to those complaining about the draenei retcon.Adams called it, but feel free to keep believing that such a clear correlation is pure coincidence.
I see no connection and Blizzard has already shown how they regret the Draenei: not the race itself but the implementation that was harsh. With how much has been done with them, it sure as hell looks like they
do
regret not
only
the race, but the fact that they actually have a fanbase.
