Oh look, yet another thread started by Tauren based on conclusive (as opposed to decisive) evidence at best.
We get it, you don't like Garrosh. For our collective mental stability, can you please move on?
Again - bring us decisive evidence or else you're spouting hot air. The gauntlet, it has been thrown. I am not willing to discuss anything Tauren brings up unless I see a screenshot and a text transcript from beta.
Then don't. simple. Although I did present evidense, but, of course, ppl want to deny it.

You were so quick to jump at the evidence of Magni turning to stone and the 3 councils leading ironforge, but still want to pass of anyting I talk of it as speculative.
I actually meant how it's changed from the original rumour where apparently Varian just ran roughshod and attacked Ironforge to slaughter all the Dark Irons within the city; I admit I like the new one better, but I'm still not completely happy with it.
Then don't. simple. Although I did present evidense, but, of course, ppl want to deny it.
A footnote does not equal 'ZOMG! Garrosh tried to kill Thrall!' especially when it's done in the words of a poster.

You presented no "evidence" Tauren. You gave us a poster's opinion on something and claimed it as fact.

Tauren is a troll. Just ignore him and move on with life.

Which Argent himself seemed to think was good enough to make a new thread on using.

On some of it yeah, but not everything. In fact, just checked
Thrall's page
for Cata, and all it has so far is:
Thrall has been confirmed to play a major role in the events of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, however, it is unclear precisely what role this will be. He appears on the Lost Isles, part of the goblin starting zone, where he is rescued by goblin players from an arcane prison onboard an Alliance warship. Promotional art shows Thrall and Cairne Bloodhoof rescuing small orc and blood elf children from a pile of rubble, probably from a quake brought on by the Cataclysm itself. These appearance suggest that Thrall might be taking a more hands-on approach to his office than in recent years.
While Garrosh Hellscream has been confirmed as the leader of the Horde in Cataclysm, it is unclear exactly how this affects Thrall's position.
Thrall is captured by agents of SI:7 off the Lost Isles, and the goblins, having recently fled Kezan, play a part in rescuing him. Thrall also aids the goblins in their battles across the Isles.
Thrall, the Horde's warchief, is a living symbol of nobility, strength, and unwavering courage. He led the orcs from the internment camps of Lordaeron into a new era of freedom and prosperity, and under his leadership the Horde has established itself as a major force on Azeroth. As a shaman, Thrall has a deep connection with the elements, and their wisdom has proven to be a great boon to the warchief. But although the Horde's faith in its warchief remains strong, some orcs who relish the tales of orcish ferocity and martial prowess are frustrated with Thrall's decisions. It remains to be seen whether his recent differences with Garrosh Hellscream are a one-time event or a hint at the shape of things to come.
And as for the
next Warchief
:
According to an article in the magazine PC Gamer UK, based on an interview with Blizzard staff, Garrosh has been confirmed as the new leader (officially named "acting Warchief") of the Horde. Now in charge, Garrosh evicts the majority of non-orc NPCs from central Orgrimmar and begins remodeling the city with dark metal, similar to Warsong Hold and other Horde bases in Northrend.
Growing up, Garrosh only knew his father, Grom Hellscream, by the stories that cast him as the one who had doomed his people. But after learning of Grom's redemption and heroic sacrifice to free the orcs from demonic corruption once and for all, Garrosh embraced his father's legacy as a fearless warrior and natural leader. At times, Garrosh's renewed zeal has put him at odds with the Horde's warchief. Frustrated by Thrall's decision to scout Northrend instead of mobilizing the Horde right away, Garrosh challenged the warchief to a duel in the Ring of Valor, but an assault by the Lich King's minions cut their bout short. Garrosh and the warchief still have some unfinished business... and Garrosh's hot-headed recklessness is fast becoming a concern to those who know the inherent danger in a Hellscream's fury.
Neither confirms it or denies it, so we do have to wait for an official ruling on it.

Taurenmoo, for some reason u've been wondering if Garrosh usurped the title of Warchief illegaly by a treacherus way.
but here's a confirmation of why that is not the case.
First of all, when Garrosh rubs in the face of vol'jin that "thrall chose him" as Warchief, Vol'jin doesn't respond with a "so you say, I saw nothing to confirm that", nope, instead Vol'jin acknoledges that indeed it was Thrall's desition to put garrosh in charge, but then there's this quest:
http://www.wowwiki.com/Quest:Final_Confrontation
(let's put aside for a moment that the ending of the goblin quest-chain SUCKS)
Thrall himself calls Garrosh "the new warchief", now if garrosh somewhat staged a grand conspiracy theme to somehow get the title without Thrall's permission, why on earth would Thrall recognize his title?
and now the second part of my post.
even when I told you that Garrosh is a temporal Warchief, you somehow have this lingering fear that perhaps due to his recent 180º turn he's somehow gonna be loved by the fanbase more than thrall and blizz will end up changing their minds and leaving him permanently in his position...........
well here's a remedy for that fear.
take a look at these 2 screenshots.
Screenshot A
Screenshot B
the screen A is a shot of Varian's Throne room in stormwind, while B is a shot of Garrosh Throne room in orgrimmar.
notice something funny? ohh yhea bro' GARROSH'S THRONE IS PHASED
now why would they do that? in all the other cities of the game, the Throne is a solid part of the enviroment, at least that's the case in Stormwind, and Ironforge, wich are the only ones with a throne to begin with. but with orgrimmar the Throne is not solid, it's not a part of the enviroment, it's a phased object, and yes it has an object ID, why?
isn't it ovious? that chair isn't "fitting" for a peacefull guy like Thrall, it's more suited to a war-like guy like Garrosh. So, rather than put a solid chair in the throne room, they placed a phased object chair, so that when Thrall does returns to orgrimmar and reclaims his title of Warchief, a new Chair can be placed there, a chair that reflects Thrall's personality rather than that of garrosh's.
I've told you a thousand times already, Thrall IS the warchief, Garrosh is only an ACTING warchief.
heck even the screenshots of Thrall in the lost islands have him with the Title "Warchief" under his name, they don't remove it, because thrall IS the true warchief of the horde, garrosh is nothing more than a steward, a simple acting oficial, that's it.
and this is their course of action, no amount of QQ or love the fanbase may or may not display towards garrosh will change that.
I wouldnt be surprised to find out that he has a shrine to Thrall in his bedroom along with garrosh and wrynn voodoo dolls.
hey =( come on, be nicer bro' I am also a HUGE Thrall fan, and I have a rather large dislike for both garrosh and varian.
the main diference is that I'm an optimist and I ABSOLUTELY HATE speculation, guessing important stuff witout a single shred of evidence or at least valid arguments to back it up.

The Lions of Azeroth? Like the one on the back of the throne.

duh, isn't it obvious?
for the orcs, the fetish is in the spikes, THEY ARE EVERYWHERE, for the humans their fetish is lions, tons of lions everywhere.

Doesn't look like a lion head to me.
But I guess you're right.
