again you have your math wrong I refar you to this link:
http://web.jjay.cuny.edu/~jobrien/reference/ob62.html
Japan suffered 7 times more military deaths than America by the estimimates at the time of 1 million American deaths than logically japan would suffer 7 million.
Japan didn't even have 7 million people in their army...
Again. You have no idea what you're talking about.
Can I have a source on that?
Japan – 2,115,000, N. China/Korea/Manchuria – 1,310,000, SE China/Malay/Burma/Indochina – 953,000, Formosa/Philippines/Indonesia- 772,000.
5 million total
http://www.1jma.dk/articles/1jmaIJAc2.htm
You're doing what's called extrapolating, which takes into account absolutely no circumstanced.

Well I was just watching a movie I rented "
unthinkable
" which is basicly centered around a moral question; whats more important maintaing the values that make us civilized, or the lifes of thousands. In this case there is a proven terrorist captured and being tortured, however inorder to obtain the location and prevent the detonation of a nuclear bomb in a major US city the specialist needed to go to work on the terrorists children.
So my question is, what would you do?
Use drugs to make him tell you want you want him to. Duh.

You're also not taking into account much more soldiers would be called into the army if America invades the mainland
They had already emptied their 4 million reserves, and were dipping into civilians at that point.
What you fail to take into account is that Japan would have surrendered much earlier if America hadn't been so up the ass about the surrender terms.
You refuse to look at anything but your silly extrapolations, which besides not being the "facts" you claim them to be, also don't make numerical or logical sense.

Not if they retained the policy of death before surrender.
This statement proves that you in fact do not know enough about WWII to make judgments about it.
Indeed and Wikipedia says 400,000 and 2,000,000 japanese deaths we can say it is a fair estimation though.
Neither 400000/2000000 nor 300000/1750000 is 1/7. You continue to fail at math.

You round up. And then round some more.
MATHZ!
If you're going to make a claim that 7 Japanese died for every American, you need to do the math.
That's a big statement without explaining why?
So is what you claimed.
I guess we're at an impasse.

I know the japanese have committed mass suicide rather than surrendering small islands, they did not even surrender after the first Atomic bomb was droped.
And after they have been invaded and all the land is occupied then they would have no reason to surrender and be dishonoured.
A country surrendering to end a war =/= soldiers surrendering in order to save their own asses.
