I play Horde and I've always been a major "Alliance Favoratism" believer.
1.Ally capitals are much nicer looking and safer than ours.
2.Stockades is easier at the proper level than RFC at the proper level... By a lot.
3.Ally gaurds are a lot tougher (from my encounters) than horde gaurds.
4.There are less "back allies" into Ally towns. (Sewers in UC, Back entrance to Org, the Orb in SMC)
Okay. Got that out and yes, I know, "QQmoar"

You just need to know the tricks to get into the Alliance cities - having played both factions at end game (level 80) there is no problems. My suggestions, and this is all they are:
1) catch boat to Stormwind from their base in Borean Tundra (fly to mast, wait up there for ride). When you arrive in SW Harbor, jump off before it docks into the water and go all the way around to the east side and enter onto dry land. Mount up and take the standard route into SW - for the flame, just follow around like going into the instance.
2) take the tram ride into Dwarf city and hit the flmae really quick as well - easy enough, it is in next room over. If youget pwn'd in there, just rez at gy and hearth back to Dalaran.
3) entrance into the Exodar is easy enough, they have a back way as well. Catch the boat from Auberdine and jump off in water as well. Mount up on shore and ride into the back entrance, down down you go, and hit the room on your right - no problems, Exodar is a ghost town.
4) To get into Darnasus, all you need to do is take the boat back into Auberdine, then ride the boat to the village, it is right there - easy. Hearth to Dal and have fun!
Of course, this is all at Level 80, and on both a hunter and a kitty druid, so odds are i attract less attention. Make sure you do not attak guards because that will just alert people of you presence, and if any of them are up for PvP at the flame (SW is hardest) you will have a craploadton of people waiting for you. Whenever I see our city Orgrimmar is under attack, I always run to the flame for soe pwn'ing. It's a blast.
Once again, this is how I did it, shoud be easy for you. Also, wait until late in the night, early morning to do it - server is slowest then, at least in my experience.

Yeah, it's true that Alliance has the main focus of the developers and, in *some* ways, is easier to play. But as I see it this is part of the plot and it's also part of Horde's charm that they face a little more difficulties than Alliance do in some aspects. In my experience this is also one of the reasons for a lot of people to choose to play Horde. For me my main reason for playing mostly Horde is that Horde has always been the "Black Sheep", in a sense - i.e. the ugly faction, the "evil" faction, and, as Blizzard says it: "Horde, surrounded by enemies on all sides...".
One thing I do find annoying is the negligence towards Horde cities' graphics and detail. F.ex. in Orgrimmar we have one(!) Inn, and in it we have no(!) beds or places to sleep, we have only one(!) table but no(!) chairs ... etc...! That's just an example, and this is all while Stormwind, the perhaps most beautiful and well made city in all of Azeroth, recently got an enormous, and beautiful, new harbor (which again was an addition to the traveling system).
Why is it that primitive life style seem to be synonymous with ugliness and absence of detail? ... I just don't get it!(1*)
I hope the differences in this regard, which are too vast, is will be evened out in the upgradings with Cataclysm.
(1*) - If the general view on primitive cultures is like this one, it is no surprise that we disregard other cultures than our own and mistreat the people representing them as we've been doing for centuries. What a waste! ... And all we got out of it was an ongoing downgrading of the richness of our own minds - in return for riches in a physical existence we can no longer truly appreciate... I have to say it again: What a waste!
*******
For those who *cry*: "QQ" etc.: Come on now, do you really think no one should voice their opinions except if they're opinions of agreement and content? ... Right, as if that'll ever change anything!
It is those who have the guts to say it when there're things that don't amuse them who will be part of changing things for the better. ... And it's such a shame to see that so many can't tell the difference between Wining, Anger, Regret, Irritability, Puzzlement, and mere Criticism! But I guess that's the trend in our time, to "take it and like it" and so on.

Blizzard loves the Alliance
Which is why we are losing Astranaar, Auberdine and Southshore and getting a useless slice of fallow earth in Southern Barrens to make up for it...
