What level are you? Pet's aggro will take a while to get good, probably only by 40ish, when you get Thunderstomp.
Until there... anything will do.
Edit: Bumping after 4 mins? Try being more patient next time.

Before you are level 30 (gorilla) or 44 (thunderstomp) you will pull aggro all over the place. My 2nd hunter that I'm leveling with heirlooms pulls aggro constantly. This time I went with a spider pet (crab would do too) and MM spec. I basically kill it before it gets to me.
The first time leveling BM from the start was horrible. It felt like grouping with an undergeared tank and just limited to autoshooting everything. This time I spam all my abilities and kill the mob fast, before it gets to me. Works much better this time around.

I´m also leveling a BM hunter with a bear pet ATM, using the spec and such from the stickies. And im also having the "problem" of pulling aggro off my pet. I just dinged 32 today, considering I´m having several heirloom items (shoulders, chest, 2x balanced heartseeker and the bow) it´s probably not that strange. But I choose not to see this as a problem because I have several tools to help me. If and when I´m pulling aggro I can use Concussive Shot, place a freezing trap, disengage, FD and then kill the mob. Most of the time all those is not needed, FD is usually enough and if it´s off CD Intimidation is also great. I don´t agree with the above posters saying just to autoshoot and that way avoiding to pull aggro, that might be a solution if everything is on CD. But most of the abilities I mentioned have a rather short CD (like 30 sec or something).
So my lvl 32 huntard advice is: learn to use all abilities you have at your disposal and learn to be a good hunter. But most important of all: HAVE FUN! =)
