I think you forgot something:
/kitchensink
I know, completely solves your problem. I'm tired and thought it was funny. =P

Why do you have an empty bracket [] just before Swiftmend?
Otherwise, I don't know what the problem might be outside of over complicating it.

In any other form (ie. caster/Tree), cast Swiftmend if my mouseover is friendly, my target is friendly.
=> The stance-check and target-check wasn't part of the same conditional
Swiftmend
and finally cast Swiftmend on myself if the above fails.
Insect Swarm; Swiftmend
=>There is two Swiftmend in your macro, that's redundantly redundant.
Insect Swarm; Swiftmend
/stopmacro
/cast !MaulAlso, is the /stopmacro part correct? I want to add in Maul to all the attacks while in Bear Form because I'm a bad tank.
I personally have two bar, one with Maul macro'ed on all ability, and one without; the rage starvation is rarely a problem in raid, but for 5-man and Deathbringer Saurfang, it's a good idea to control Maul spam.
However, you can just do
/cast Maul
So, the final macro should be (if I didn't make any mistakes)
#showtooltip
/cast Growl; Prowl; Insect Swarm; Swiftmend
/cast Maul

Also, that
would prevent any of the following conditionals in that line from being evaluated as it's basically equivalent to...
if (true) then
...
end

Thanks for that... I read up on it a bit last night, but that explanation is actually worlds better than what I was finding else where.

So I took what mineka posted and tweaked it a little bit. As far as I can tell (haven't had a chance to test the Maul bit, but the tooltip shows up right), this is what I wanted:
#showtooltip
/cast Growl; Prowl; Swiftmend; Insect Swarm; Swiftmend
/cast Maul
So thank you again for helping me work out this mess of a macro. :o
If you'd like to complicate it a bit, you can add and :D
