Why is everyone quoting the OP? Sometimes even the second poster quotes the OP. I mean, we get it. you're quoting the main idea that everyone is already discussing. What is the point of this?
And don't quote me, we've all thought of that joke but you were the one with the least intelligence/self restraint.

Because I like having the OP to view and work with in the text box.

No I mean posting right after OP and quoting them. I know you like a visual but
a. you can just look right above the text bos
b. you can delete it afterwards
c. in this particular instance you could have looked at the title window, that

a. It's a pain in the ass to type, scroll up, scroll down, type, scroll up, scroll down, type, etc.
b. Why bother? It's easier just to leave.
c. What's a title window, and why do I need to look at it?

Some people also delete and change the OP right away, especially if it's offensive or insulting and could get them a ban/vacation from the forums.

Because we'll want to specify that we're replying back to the OP, and not any of the 10 posts following it. Even as third poster, someone else can possibly jump in. As Hyperspacerebel and MischevousLoki did, before Hospy.
And don't quote me, we've all thought of that joke but you were the one with the least intelligence/self restraint.
Or, you know, we had other reasons to quote you other than having fun.
