As we all know, NMIC is a BiS for Affliction due to the "rolling" effect.
My question is, exactly what rolls with it? I know crit rating does, but do things like Tricks of the Trade and Devious Minds roll with it too?

crit and percentage modifiers DO
sp and haste do NOT
tricks, yes
devious minds, yes

Pretty nifty. Recently tried it out, and in fact this (explanation follows) actually increased my dps by a bit.
UA > (run to nice spot to stand on) > SB > Haunt > Corruption > Curse of Agony .... (wait for Devious Minds) .... > Devious Proc > NMIC > Corruption, then continue on as normal.
Works very well. :)
And also, I shuffle in a Seed of Corruption when DM procs, so that I don't encounter "more powerful spell already in place" keeping me from refreshing corruption with NMIC.

I DO cast corruption before DM procs. Read again.
And I cast UA while in range of the boss, so DM has a head start to proc while I'm moving to the destination I'm supposed to stand on, THEN I start my usual rotation. In my case I almost never end up DPSing from the spot I stood when the tank pulled.
A: The simple rule to follow is:
Buffs on the caster need to be in place before the spell is cast
Debuffs on the mob need to be in place before the damage is done.
Just wondering, since corruption "refreshes" does this mean the buff spell power bonus will be on the refreshed corruption?
Yes, I believe so.. hence "a more powerful spell is already in place" when you try to rewrite the corruption already on place more than often.

it's worth noting that most procs have a high proc chance and an internal cooldown which controls its uptime (lightweave most trinkets etc). this means that you're unlikely to ever line up more procs that in the first 15 seconds of a fight when all those internal cooldowns are triggered. devious minds is a little different in that its uptime is controlled by a lower proc chance and not an ICD.
you'll want to be following those procs closely and just use corruption with as many procs as possible, even if you have bad luck with devious minds.
because of all these coinciding procs i would strongly suggest that you get cosy with your rogues and make sure you can get a tricks when death's embrace comes along and trigger NMIC manually, saving it for that next stage of the encounter. you want the recast corruption with death's embrace to be easily stronger than the original to warrant clearing and recasting.

shadow embrace is a debuff on the target so that's one thing that you don't need to worry about with corruption rolling.
