This is a typical starter shadow spec, you can move 2 points from Improved vampiric embrace to focused mind, if you have problems with mana, but you shouldnt have in raids and dungeons

Just so you know the why you should be putting points into
ST
and
IST
, spriests get 50% of spirit as sp via
GoS
and
TF
. It's always preferable to know why you do something rather than to just know you should be doing it.

It doesn't matter that IST gives a marginal DPS increase. There is nowhere better to put the points. Also IVE is basically pointless for PvE and will mostly have the effect of increasing your threat. Better to put those two in Focused Mind.

But keeping IMB after 4-T10 is not needed, the dps increase from MB in that enviroment is even lower than IST. So that's why you have 5 points left, for either IMB or IST. IST is more functional imo.

IST may be a marginal dps increase, but in reality, there are very, very few tp's that by themselves are more than a "marginal" dps increase. At that level, I'm going to assume he has 600-800 spi, which should give a fairly constant 60-80 spi and 30-40 sp. If he has 2800 sp, that's giving well over 1% increased damage...as opposed to 0%. You are a dps, number crunching is everything.

Or in many cases MB has less dps than MF. After the 4p t10, MB should only be cast when you have 1.0-1.2 seconds (depending on your haste) or less until you need to refresh a DoT.
