Perhaps the tank is moving the boss around and I need to follow... unless you're keyboard turning too, you wont be able to follow while keeping the target in front of you.
Maybe I need to watch for an add to spawn, someone get spiked/ice tombed/etc... there's many reasons you need to look around.

Clicking vs keybinds is a moot point point for tanks. A great dead of the time we just stand there and look around on the screen for stuff to happen. Only real things you need keybound as a tank are your taunts.
Also, I'd like to see a tank moving a boss while keeping it in front of him using just the mouse.

I use both clicking AND keybinding at the same time. I find that keybinding every single one of my moves gets confusing and takes up too much keyboard space, but my main rotation is keybinded to the number keys. Even while clicking, my reaction time is fast enough to shift to pressing keys and move out of the way of something that might kill me. It all depends on the player. For example, the best enhancement shaman I've ever met in game is solely a clicker, he never uses a keybind under any circumstances, and he's also a keyboard turner.
TL;DR Clicking doesn't make you bad. Being a bad player makes you bad.

Oh hell no.
If its a tank and spank fight, yes, but in a fight with a lot of movement, you need to keybind your stuff to be efficient. You need much more than taunt keybound.
The debate in this thread is WSAD movement and clicking spells vs mouse movement and using bound keys for spells.
Explain to me a tanking situation where you're not backpedaling (S key) or strafing (Q and E keys) when moving the boss. Not sure about you but I like my parry and block. I don't see any situation where "OMG I DIDN'T HIT MY DEVASTATE IMMEDIATELY AFTER I USED SHIELD SLAM" was the make or break of a fight. Once you have a threat lead you really don't have to do anything besides what's required for the fight. Your 1.7k dps as a Warrior tank doesn't care if you use an ability a fraction of a second later.
Also in movement fights, you should be always strafing or backpedaling, which involves WSAD. Using WSAD you lose fingers for keybinds. I highly doubt you can kite a
Deformed Fanatic
successfully if you're just plain running away from it using mouse for movement and left hand for abilities. You need to strafe and backpedal to kite, especially strafing on Rotface's ooze. Like I said, I prefer to parry and block.
It's nice to have everything keybound and use it as a tank. It makes it simple. But the only things that
NEED
, absolutely
NEED
to be bound to something a twitch away are taunts, and to a lesser extent interrupts. Hitting Shield of Righteousness a fraction of a second later isn't a big deal. But letting an add get on a healer is. And so is getting hit by Fel Fireball or other avoidable damage.

No it's not.
WSAD movement (A and D for strafing), mouse turning, and keybound attack usage.
Ideal keybinds to use include 1-6, `, Q, E, and chorded versions of them.
You need to strafe and backpedal to kite, especially strafing on Rotface's ooze. Like I said, I prefer to parry and block.
Rotface's Big Ooze should never get close enough to you where your facing matters. And even if it does, you can run straight away from it, jump and spin in midair, fire an instant, and land still facing away from the ooze, all while maintaining forward momentum.
It's called a jump-shot. Look into it sometime.

I have no problem with clickers or pressers, but jerks who think one is subpar than the other is ignorant and arrogant.
I tend to be a hybrid user, a mix of keys and clicks. Much of it is redudancy though, if one fails I have the other. I can use both equally.
To give an opinionated answer, to use both equally gives you more flexibility and makes the use of either feel more natural.

Clicking simply is superior for PvE healing.
Clicking, in this sense, is defined as clicking the target you're going to use an ability on, then clicking a spell on your action bars.
Grid/Clique, VuhDo, Healbot, and their analogues are not the same thing.
