Leveling as Afflic is def the way to go, but at 80 play whichever you're most comfortable/effective with.
Demo. Is. Better.

it just gets even more fun as they desperately try to get to you to kill you, but, alas, they themselves die
right
when they get to you. Very satisfying. Is that alittle
too
sadistic?
not at all, that's just the warlock way

Levelling:
The 'best' build for levelling is the one you enjoy the most.
Generally speaking:
The affliction tree offers quite fast levelling but relies on a fine balance between health and mana which, if not monitored closely, can lead to deaths when overwhelmed.
Demonology is much safer and can take on elites and higher level mobs more easily but will generally level slower than affliction.
Destruction will level the slowest of all due to its higher downtime for mana breaks but if you don't mind going a little slower and like to see big numbers then it can still be fun, it just wouldn't be recommended if your goals for levelling are speed and efficiency.

Why are people posting leveling recommendations when the OP asked for opinions at 80?
If you're raiding, go demo. If you're just doing heroics, destro or affliction....keep in mind though, that at the pace things die in heroics nowadays, burst damage will probably perform better.

because the OP hasn't even made the lock yet and planning your end-game spec before levelling it is idiotic.

indeed he should focus on leveling first and then see what was fun.
but i wouldn't even dream to level as a destro or demo. can you pull 30 mobs, kill them in about a minute and come out of combat with full hp and mana with those specs? doubt that.
1) run to mob, dot it with agony and corruption
2) run to second mob, and do the same
3) once there's 5 mobs hitting you, feel free to howl of terror and hope they will pull even more mobs so you dont have to
4) repeat until there's no more mobs around
i recommend glyph of siphon life so you will gain even more heals from your dots. and dont forget to pick talents that increase either life drained, corruption's or agony's damage. dark pact is also a must.
affli ftw <3
works best against green mobs so 2 dots should be enough to kill everything, and if not, your faithful felhound will finish them off. however, if corruption fades from too many mobs, you start losing health
only downside is that if you like to do instances, you will be outdps'd by skilled people since our only aoes are from destro tab in our spellbook (until level 70). but if you dont mind that, it shouldn't be a problem :) however, if you're elitist like me, you should get dual spec and use destro in instances and you're the one outdpsing others if you're skilled :)

In my experience I've determined that a spec's "effectiveness" is heavily dependent on the fight mechanics.
