Is there a way to block people from inspecting my toons. I am sick of getting crap from nosy people about me gear. I KNOW my gear isn't right. It is being worked on. The whispers and party comments, etc is way past old.

Ugh. It wouldn't be so bad if they weren't so damn rude and obnoxious.
Thanks for the response :)

Use /ignore. That'll keep them from annoying you. And seriously, random people are inspecting you and giving you crap about it? What server are you on so I can make sure to never play there?

Yeah. I'm on stormreaver.
I don't mind the whisper if they are constructive about it. I get sick of the one that whisper me to tell me how stupid I am for not having perfect gear at level 75 or whatever. I rarely buy gear, I find it more fun to play with drops and quest items. It's a little more exciting. Its the same reason I've never used cheats on console games.
When I hit 80 I am going to seriously start gearing. I cant really see the point of spending a mountain of gold on gear I'm not going to keep for more than a level or two.
I always listen to advice from better players but just be nice about it. None of us were born perfect players and geared in the 5000's.
Thank you for your responses.

Ya know, I hate this also. Theres another sugestion for the Official Forums.
I have a specific Warrior that i work with, which has talent points in specific places for a reason. I just into a LFD group and get kicked just because i don't have a point in "Puncture" or "Incite"
For those who don't know Warrior Talents..
Puncture: reduces the rage cost of Sunder Armor and Devastate.
Incite: Increases the critical strike chance of Heroic Strike, Thunder Clap, and Cleave.
So. why is that an issue, a problem enough to get kicked from a group? The tank is suppose to take damage, not give it. A few rage points makes no difference in the long run.
I'm sick of people who THINK they know the "Most Important" talents for a warrior are, telling me how to play that character which I have played since the dawn of the game.

Tank is also supposed to generate threat. And most of the time that comes from damage. If you're running a Deep Wounds build you should have Incite, because Deep Wounds procs off of Thunder Clap crits, just more stacking of the DoT moer threat, you get it right? lol. Thunder Clap is also a high threat ability, and the more damage it does the more threat you get. If you're not running Deep Wounds or farming Heroics, I can see not taking Incite. But I wouldn't say it's a bad talent to take.
I really don't find much of a use for Puncture. Any respectable tank doesn't use Sunder Armor at 80 since Devastate does more threat anyway. And if you can't afford 15 rage... you have more problems than talents. At 68 my Warrior has more rage than she knows what to do with.
People who kick you for not having those talents need to l2warrior.

Problem is, if people can't inspect you, there's a higher chance they'll
know
you're hiding something, and boot you anyway.
It's best just to take it as it happens, ignore the tools who give you @#$% needlessly

I never have this problem.
How do I avoid it? I do 10 minutes of research every time I play a new class or spec so I know what I'm doing.
People kicking you for 'a single talent out of place in their opinion' are either only pointing out one problem of many or they're just trying to give you any excuse to kick you.
And any time you get whispers you don't want, just use the ignore feature. That's what it's for.

tldr: You got grouped with retards. Don't lose too much sleep over it.
Puncture is a fail talent, and anyone suggesting you take it also fails. You would never take it over
Focused Rage
, and even that is not a required talent for tanking.
You really should have Incite, though, especially with a Deep Wounds build. Still wouldn't kick you over it.
The tank is suppose to take damage, not give it. A few rage points makes no difference in the long run.
The tank's
real
job is maintaining threat. Sponging the damage is the direct side effect of that.
And damage dealt is your primary source of threat. So yes, DPS is important even for tanks. Improving threat generation is the entire reason you dip into Arms for Deep Wounds and take Armored to the Teeth in Fury.
