If your Survival, gem all agility. If your MM gem agility up until you have about 800 passive ArP. Once you have that much, you should start gemming ArP until you hit the hard cap of 1400. Hope this helps.

Marksmanship Gemming:
1) Put a Relentless Earthsiege Diamond in your meta-socket.
2) Put a Delicate Cardinal Ruby in every red socket.
3) Put a Nightmare Tear in your best blue socket, with regards to socket bonuses.
4) Put a Delicate Cardinal Ruby in every other blue socket.
5) Put a Deadly Ametrine in every yellow socket whose socket bonus is 4 Agi or more per yellow gem.
6) Put a Delicate Cardinal Ruby in every currently-empty socket.
I don't think you should even go Marksmen until you can get the minimum ARP requirement.
He has a ilvl 245 ranged weapon, he's fine for being MM.

I see a lot of Marksmen hunters using agility gems, but still getting out DPS'd by survival ones. I don't think Marksmen gets ahead until you can gem ARP when you are the minimum required.
I went MM at 334 ArP and I pull more DPS then I did before. Even If you dont do more, its not a drop in DPS by switching. Your more raid beneficial and you can change up your playing style if youd like.

Again this myth is everywhere. You DON'T need to hit the armor pen cap before switching from SV to MM.

The most important factor in whether MM will perform more favorably than SV for you is your ranged weapon. Ranged weapons below ilevel 226 have significantly lower dps than ones at that level or above. Because of this you shouldn't consider MM until you have a weapon of that level.
Even with a strong ranged weapon you also want to take into account the strength of the rest of your gear. There isn't a magic amount of stats that makes MM better than SV but generally around 4k AP, 35% crit and 250 ArPen are good numbers to look for before you consider switching over.
