Okay right now i have
last word
, just wondering whether i should keep it for the the proc or go with
heroic bonebreaker scepter
? Just in case you don't know last word's buff is always up.

Bonebreaker Scepter is much better.

I'd use the Heroic Bonebreaker, our job is to mitigate damage taken, not increase healing taken by some paltry amount.

I think zoomie had the last word on this one previously (no pun intended) - would your healers want an extra 300SP, or more spikey damage?

Well, I would say as a healer, that in this case, the 300 SP trade-off is WITH the spikey damage. So it's 300 SP for 10 sec periodically with spikier damage the rest of the time (due to lack of avoidance stats) OR normal SP with less spikey damage. I vote the latter.

Actually, the uptime is 100%. So it's 300SP consistently, and about 40 less damage from blocks from the extra Str. With regards to spikey damage - I was more referring to the fact that avoidance tanking is either 'on' or 'off' - more avoidance just means there's more 'off' than otherwise. It's still equally spikey. But if it's consistently big (eg, 0% avoidance), then you're better able to anticipate what will come next.
On a side note - does anyone know how it works with Beacon of Light? I'm guessing that the beaconed heals don't increase by 300SP? Or PW:S / Sacred Shield?

Really? Yellow socket with a +4 def bonus. Sure your going to stack it will stam anyways, But then you look at it and it has hit.....waste of itemization points.
Lastword
Cheers,

p.s.
I'm going to stick with using the Last word.
Here are some reasons why, and Instead of retyping them. I will just quote.
More threat because of the weapon speed, but you could lose threat from possible expertise, and the proc is 100% so its basically 100 strength and 300 healing. And as someone else stated, it isn't simply adding 300 healing onto every heal you get, it acts like 300 spell power.
Every little bit of itemization in last word is useful, while the defense and parry in facelifter isn't optimal unless you are struggling to get 536 defense. And believe me, the extra healing is a tremendous help in the harder hard modes like sindragosa, or 3 inhale festergut.
A 100% proc isn't RNG Even if the proc only amounted to 60% of incoming heals being bigger overheals it's not wasted,
Divine Aegis
,
Living Seed
,
Val'anyr
, and other similar effects will still benefit.
The thing to look at here is probably "Would my healer like 300 more Spellpower."
Thanks for all the Input guys.
Cheers,
Hat

Ahh, it wasn't zoomie, it was oberondreaming. My mistake.
But having said that.... it doesn't affect Beacon heals, does it? So the 300SP benefit is really only for the other tank healers, not Paladin ones.

If you're healing two tanks, you can always beacon the other one. Any other tank healer is going to love it, and even raid healers are going to have stray CH, WG, PoH, etc., procs going to the tank fairly often. I wouldn't be too terribly worried either way, as far as beacon heals go.
